Got to Have it Day-Yankee TSV 28/05/18

There are 12 reviews now for this Yankee TSV, nearly all 5 star. Looks like I was indeed in the minority but I can live with that!

It does annoy me that when someone leaves a bad review with 1 star (as with this Yankee set), several people click "No" to "Was this review helpful?" at the bottom. It's only someone's opinion, as are they all! I think it's ****** rude when someone's taken the trouble to leave a review and people mark it unhelpful just because they disagree with their opinion. I don't think there should be a "No" button at all, just a Like/Thanks button as there is on here. I know these are not reviews but still, it stops all the negativity of petty people defending their "favourite products".

Q's website winding me up again, as you can tell.

i did not buy the tsv and am glad i didn't i like to buy what i like and smell them first. also if they don't live up to expectations i send them back easy if you have a store. if they close my local store down then i will buy more from qvc

SCW, can I just ask your opinion - this last drop of the TSV has been available to buy (for quite a bit more money, natch) since the most recent Yankee TSV day, why haven't they been dispatched to those of us expecting them on AD?

https://www.qvcuk.com/Yankee-Candle-Set-of-3-Winter-Scents-Large-Jars.product.708402.html?sc=NAVLIST

I'm just a bit worried they're trying to get as many of them sold at the higher price and then there won't be enough to send to us!

Thanks

Oh dear are Q CS fobbing you off :call::mysmilie_486::mysmilie_13:
If I’d ever had a question about AD I’ve rung with inference I’ve wanted to cancel, never had a delay then :mysmilie_50:

You’re such a cynic, Tarketta! Whatever would QVC do something like that for?!

Is your order marked as In Process at least? See what everyone else says - I don’t have experience of such a situation, but I’ve heard similar stories on here and I can’t remember what the most common outcome is. Fingers crossed for you as I know how much you have been looking forward to this drop.

There is nothing showing on my order history and the drop isn't due for another few days, but with previous drops on this and other orders, they were only made available after the ADs had been dispatched so this is worrying me!

I can't face calling CS but I guess I'm gonna have to aren't I, GROAN - good tip re hinting a desire to cancel, love it!!!

While you’re waiting, if you’re in Yankee Yearning Mode, and since we were talking about my recent jar purchase the other day, here are some sets on Groupon. I know some are a bit cinnamon-heavy for you but there are also some less common ones you might fancy? The prices are good at about £12.50 each but if you look around, or wait a day or two, you may get 10% off that (Groupon discount codes).

4 large jars for £49.99 - choice of 4 slightly different sets:

6 large jars for £74.98 - choice of 3 sets

Oh yes I’d go for it no use worrying I’d either say you were thinking to cancel or they are a gift and you need sort out an alternative present if they aren’t going to arrive in time.
Good luck

its tricky to explain but i wouldnt worry too much yet but as for gourupon NO THANK YOU

No need to be so dismissive of other forum members’ suggestions. What’s wrong with Groupon? Not dear enough for you, don’t like free P&P, irritated by speedy delivery?

Fashion World have some good offers on Yankee Candle, you can open a credit account but even if you don't you can just buy them, also if you like the look of Fashion World you can pay £9.99 for a years worth of unlimited next day delivery. https://www.fashionworld.co.uk/shop...e&Rpp=36&hnid=1000&sdd=true&spv=true&type=cmr The amount of things I've bought from them on next day delivery is unbelievable, they've never let me down not once. :mysmilie_3:

Please do tell :mysmilie_504:

SCW, you're missing out so much you know, QVC are rated one star (bad) om Truspilot for a reason, their prices and service is abysmal, they've changed so much since you were at school and doing your homework, so while other company's change, compete and adapt to the changing world of retail and offer what customers want, QVC refuse point blank to do this, or maybe America won't let them, it's their company after all so while you stick with QVC, a company who don't give a stuff about you, us savvy shoppers will get our better service and better prices from the retailers who value us, and Amazon, Groupon, Fashion World and Simply Be do, just to name four. :mysmilie_3:

They have some great offers Andi, I ordered two cream coloured bear onesies yesterday and have just arrived, only £15 and there's so snugly, that's me sorted for hibernating over Winter. :mysmilie_17:

And this for the fire. https://www.fashionworld.co.uk/shop...on?pdBoUid=8016#colour:No Colour, size:NO SIZE so I actually got it for £12.50 and it's coming tomorrow for free because I paid my £9.99 at the beginning of the year, so much for QVCs buying power.

Said onesie (won't fit anyone over 5ft 4") the one for taller women sold out. https://www.fashionworld.co.uk/shop...s/show.action?pdBoUid=8016#colour:Cream,size: I also modelled for it (ahem!). :mysmilie_17:
