Tarte discontinued?

Leigh announced her departure from the brand and now 70 items ( I think that’s all of them!) are on easy pays! Could this be the end ?

You can no longer get Tarte from Sephora USA.
When you try to go to Sephora USA you are now re directed to the French website, which is obviously in French and they don’t sell Tarte either. It’s apparently something to do with new EU rules / GDPR - all Sephora points accumulated don’t transfer either, so lots of unhappy uk customers!
So now if you want genuine Tarte it’s either QVC or Tarte.com

Some are saying its to do with the 25% tariff thing? UK customers will not want to pay for it. There were many brands Sephora would not ship to the UK anyway.

Sephora is an LVMH company and they are French-based.

That’s a shame. I hope that doesn’t mean that Doris will be doing fewer shows. Leigh was nice enough in a boring kind of way, but Doris is an absolute hoot.

i think its so they can proberbly have more shows but the problem with doll 10 is they cant get enough stock

How on earth is she ever going to pull that one off without losing all credibility, when for years she's consistently said that Tarte products are unbeatable.

Easy: She simply had never tried the [insert range name here] so sure was she that she had found the holy grail. Now she has had the chance to try [insert range name here] her eyes are truly opened!

Leigh always said she was with Tarte from their beginning.

But then the original owners and creators took the big bucks and moved on too.

Ah it’s Q! No mention of a life before, no, zip, never happened, ever! If Leigh had been whisked up by an Alien there would be no goodbye, shock or horror, unless they extend the 30 day MBG from Planet Zigzog!

Interesting U turn from QVC UK; they used to have a rule that a bland ambassador could represent a couple of brands like Anne Dorrington, Jill Gauntlett etc but not direct competitors. When Lorraine Winslade left SBC, QVC UK didn't want her back for another brand or her own brand LYS. Maybe they relax their own rules when it suits them and they perceive Leigh to be a popular presenter with their make up buyers. Is she doing QVC France, Germany and Italy for Doll10 as well I wonder?

Leigh has not actually said for certain that she will be appearing on Q, she may not be on regularly that way she is not away from her baby too often, just occasionally, particularly as she has said she is happy to be doing product development. Time will tell how it will all pan out.
