I have a large bag like this that's used for travelling and short stays. but don't want/need another one

Like the mint colour.

Like you Boffy, I've got a couple of excellent Kipling 'travel' bags, and both have the suitcase handle flap on the back - a great function but sadly so few Kipling bags (or at least the ones on QVC)seem to possess this design.

Is it an optical illusion or does the pattern not run straight across the bag? It still looks like a Cropper shopper to me!

Since I semi retired I wear an awful lot more casual clothes which means casual bags as well whereas before i used mostly leather smartish bags.

Although I had a couple I was never a Kipling fan as I thought them vastly overpriced for a glorified wash bag with a strap.

I decided to buy a small backpack and a Kipling one seemed to fit the bill so I bought one found it fitted the bill to a T and sort of got hooked on them so have bought a few more and also purchased as presents (surprised at how good a response these received, more after using TBH).

However I buy from eBay official stockists and wait until I get a good value as I’m not TOO worried about the colour. These prices can be up to FORTY BLIDDY QUID less than shops for a brand new in packaging.

Still not fussed on bags and the monkeys go straight in the bin but the small pack packs are good. The ones I like are the Firefly Up or Firefly N or Citipack mini (the small is bit bigger than these).

I just don't get Kipling bags. Why do they cost so much for a canvas bag? Ah yes, because people will pay it. However, I know I pay for Lulu Guinness bags but only vastly reduced in her sale and they are leather. Each to their own I suppose.

They arent canvas CC but a very strong nylon and last for years. I have a few and they are great for day to day use. I also love Lulu Guiness but only use those when I want to be posh which sadly is not very often these days :mysmilie_19:
