Flaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaars, is what she sells apparently.
That pronunciation is more to do with her mouth anatomy than blindness to the written word and deafness, lazily or otherwise, to the shenanigans of the Q presenters.

Not really a mispronunciation, just incoorect use of a word - fabrication, meaning a lie. Silly me, that's their stock-in-trade.

Imagine the looks you'd get T, if you went in to Marks and Sparks and said to the shop assistant "excuse me, what's the fabrication of this top please?" You'd probably hear the reply "security!! over here!!" as you were gently, but firmly escorted to the door

It used to amuse me when AY presented shows with Liz Earle herself.
She used to say instant boost skin toner, Liz would then immediately say instant boost skin TONIC.

The next time it was mentioned, AY would be calling it instant boost skin toner again.
This went on for the entire show, Liz's face gave away her disdain, although partly camouflaged by a fake smile.

As Shopperholic has said, Ay always knows best.

Pronunciation isn't the main problem for me; poor diction is a bigger bugbear of mine. Regional accents are fascinating but lazy diction is a real let down.

Yes she does CG, and woe betide anyone who tells her otherwise (which they obviously wouldn't dare ) It's like longevity, instead of pronouncing it the right way lon-jevity, nope, it's AYs way and it's pronounced long-evity, even though the people she's with say lon-jevity, the right way.
