No wonder they have been trying hard to flog the last hand & body boxed collection from the last but one TSV
 
I bought two of the boxed TSVs and am only half way through one of the body washes so can't justify more. Not to mention the two Decleor recent TSVs that are now in my "hide it" cupboard, or the fact that my purse is well and truly empty!

Too much c&p .... I’ve vowed nothing till this Xmas TSV

The Orange flower body wash is good for pampered pooches. No SLS...My doggie has sensitive skin & can get V.flakey...This doesn't irritate him. I don't wash him that much though, although I had to yesterday after I found him in the woods during his walk. He was on his back rolling on/in a large decomposing fox!!!!! He had 'retrieved' this (already) dead fox to me on 28 December & I put it back in the woods....schoolgirl error!
 
Dogs will be dogs but they get such delight in rolling in something disgusting.Pleased LE came to the rescue!

My Darling is an English Springer Spaniel. I reckon these are the worst! He is being rather naughty at the moment...He stole a bag of flour - (say no more) - you can only imagine the mess. His Liver & white markings became all white & the dining room (Oh yes, he dragged it about after he opened it) was like a bakers factory. Not that I left the flour out or anything - it was in my mom's suitcase!!! (long story!)

Hah! My mum has a spaniel cross and she (the dog, not my mum) ate a whole rabbit in the park a couple of days ago while fending off a pack of crows LOL. She will kill anything, probably even a bag of flour he he he. I know, not to be encouraged but I could have done with her here when I was visited by roland rat recently (cause, bird food). Both mum's and my dog very partial to rolling in unmentionables. New idea for LE - bring out a pet range.

Your Mom's dog sounds badass!!! She obvs has a high prey drive - so does Obie - which can be a problem with pheasants. What is the cross? I remember you mentioned cocker spaniel ears & handbags a while ago (great cross imo!!! :mysmilie_17:)


Re the rat!!!! OMFG! WTAF!!!! Have you killed it? Surely your (border?) terrier would kill that (Yes, I wouldn't want Obie near vermin, but terriers are badass)
What was the rat like? What time of day was this? Was it actually on the birdtable?

Rats: Semi specialist with me: If you feed birds, never put out food after midday in winter (perhaps 11am in the Highlands) Whilst there is a rat, stop feeding them, or get nuts. Clean up under the nuts.
Rats adore messy gardens, sheds, piles of things - iow somewhere to hide. Even if your garden is lovely, there could be a neighbours shed. Chicken coops =rats. Warning - your rat could have been feeding young, & there is NEVER only one.

You must keep me updated on this!

No spaniels ears were harmed during this post.

It's supposed to be a cockapoo but it's all cock and no poo - the genes obviously didn't mix as it's like a little skinny spaniel (lovely dog mind you). It will kill and eat anything, and has, despite my mum's attempts to save birds, rabbits pheasants, hens, mice and rats. Her dog that died was a blue roan spaniel with gorgeous ears (would have made a nice bag). He used to eat some things but mostly when they were already dead. My dog's a clown, he'll chase things to the end of the earth but wouldn't kill. My border terrier sadly died in 2010 (was it really that long ago??) but he too was a killer.

Roland appeared in a box of old plant pots in which I had left a nearly empty bag of bird food. As one of the things I have a hysterical fit at, I can't have rats near the house so all the bird food has gone. I suspect old Roly is still under the shed. As we're in a rural area and the house backs onto a field I suppose they will be everywhere.
 
I am the same with rats, when we had one in the garden I had to blow in & out of a paper bag, whilst on the phone to Mr B knowing what he was going to do about it. We are semi country too.

Rats always have company & are out at dawn & dusk. Shut the loo lid & keep doors closed! Our rat/s moved in permanently under the shed/under the roots of a buddlia (sp?) But we killed them. I wouldn't set foot in the shed though & it's now come down, thank goodness.

Did you see him in that box? Were you close by? OMG!!!
 
I saw Roly on the patio, running around. We have set traps but he's too cute for that. I know he lives under the shed as the dog tries to dig under it but don't know if the dog would kill it. If I cut off Roly's food sources he might go somewhere else but I suspect he'll be going in the compost bin as it's right next to the shed. If it comes in the house I'll have to move!

I had a rat/s in the garden of my last house.I paid for pest control from the council to come as unlike my neighbours I was not prepared to see rats running over my patio.A box with poison was put down, none were caught but they were not seen again probably because I stopped putting bread down for the birds.I didn’t want them to die, just GO AWAY!!

Rats (& mice) love compost. I'd get some special bait stations for poison. Rats & mice can get in, but other animals can't. They then tend to die in their holes. Grim, I know, but not as grim as free running rats.

Oh yuk!! Did you see them running about? Your neighbours sound lovely!
 
SB yes but they were not right outside the house.My neighbour had seen them around their pond which was next to their house.They say we are surrounded by Rats but we don’t want to see them!
