Just wondering if you hesitated, missed out, no intention to buy, spotted something that put you off or was just unsure?

Do you afterwards check the reviews to see was I correct or kick yourself should have gone for it?

Here’s a few that if you didn’t purchase then by the looks of the reviews, then it was a wise move.

Review rating 2.4

If you read the reviews for some of the LAB products, then they're spot on. I bought the microdermabrasion gadget and it was total rubbish and went back for a full refund. It got 172 one star reviews and the average rating is under 2*

The recent lip and eye wand got 191/253 one star reviews.

I do read the reviews before I buy anything from any website because I can't see the point in ordering something, only having to return it because it's no good. And the fact it's 10 to 14 days before QVC refund the money and the returns aren't free then why wouldn't you check the reviews first?

Also whilst everyone who buys the item is different if 95% comment on the same aspect eg sleeves too tight/too long then I wouldn’t even take a chance.

Same with hotel reviews - everyone has different taste in food so I don’t usually take that into consideration but cleanliness has to have a high score from everyone.

Yes I check reviews because as Lati says, if nine out of ten people have the same complaint then the item is most definitely dodgy.

I read reviews for cosmetics and not from QVC. There is a big thing with fake reviews now on Amazon etc, but if you search around online usually get a good cross view of what people think. I want to know the pigment, texture and if any fallout? If perfume the notes and decide from that reading the reveiws. I would not buy Yankee Candles as 99% say no throw from the now and tunnelling.

Recently looking at Natasha Denona 5 pan palettes, reviews all over the place. Made a decision when Feel Unique had 20% off and love the one I bought.

I read them to see what the sizes are like on real people. If everyone says they bought a large (usual size) and it was huge on them then I know I need XS. If everyone says they are usually a size 5 in shoes but they needed a 7 then I go with that. You just have to hope that people aren't "doing a Julia" when they write the reviews!
