I got sucked in and bought the Styled By Parker. It arrived today and, to be fair, it's a lovely coat - well made, good quality, warm and pretty much everything you'd want from a coat of this sort and all for just over £30 including P&P. Wanted it for nipping in and out of the car when the weather isn't so great. I bought the Latte, which is a nice light colour and was looking for the washing instructions as I always wash things before I wear them properly. This is the point at which I discovered it's dry clean only! I was quite annoyed as this wasn't mentioned on air and who would make a light coloured coat for poor weather that you have to dry clean any time something gets on it? I don't have a dry cleaners anywhere near home and, even if I did, given the cost of cleaning, a couple of cleans would be more than the cost of the coat! I normally like IW but I think they scored an own goal on this one. They should have made it much clearer. Keeping information like that quiet is a tactic I normally associate with QVC :D I'm not prepared to pay the P&P to send it back so I'll do it when I next need Asda but it's a faff I could do without.

Is it this one Moth? https://www.idealworld.tv/gb/pp/lon...orld%2fen_GB%2f%24s%3dcoats&fh_sort=-stock_iw Yes it says dry clean but also 30 degree wash, I washed mine on 30 degrees and it’s come out ok, I’d return it if you’re not sure. Good job it’s free returns. I bought a couple of sleeveless wraps and trousers for my holiday next year, four trousers and three wraps all for £39 plus £2 delivery.

Shoperholic you have done it again! I have just ordered four trousers :mysmilie_17: I bought Aldi jeggins on your recommendation and even though I have about 15 others those two from Aldi - a fraction of the price - are my go to favourites. These IW trousers look fab and such a great price - roll on next summer :mysmilie_8: Think I should avoid your posts when funds are low :mysmilie_19:

Aw Mollie I’m made up you’re pleased! :mysmilie_8: I always buy IW clothes especially when I see something I like that’s reduced, and they’re always new and pristine. Thanks for letting me know that’s made my day that :mysmilie_12: xxx

And yes I agree the Aldi jeggings are my favourites too :mysmilie_3:

I ordered one of those parkas (in black) but have yet to wear it.

I bought one last year, from Styled by, and the only reason I bought a new one was because one of the poppers came off and it looked odd. The poppers were also in gold and there were more of them than on this year's version. The black one this year has silver hardware and there's less of it. I wore it all winter and so wasn't bothered about replacing it because I certainly got my money's worth from it.

IW's clothes are far better than QVC's in my opinion. They're well made, less expensive and they often have capped P&P. They have also never failed to deliver my orders well within the quoted 3-5 days.

Thanks for that, I might risk it with the coat :) I don't really want to send it back because it's such good value. And, now you've made me think about it, I've never once received a used item from IW, I just don't think they do that. IW is such good value - reduced P&P, extra 10% off at the checkout and, as said above, reliable deliveries. Prefer the presenters too and I like that they don't treat the models like shop dummies, and they're all quite friendly, even if a bit "barrowboyish" at times :) And so far no complaints about too many returns XD I do swap about because the Asda returns thing makes it economic to try stuff out.

I haven't bought this coat but I have bought several things from shopping channels that say dry clean only and I've washed them at 30 degrees on delicate and they've been fine. Clothes, throws, bedspreads all been OK and haven't looked "dishrag" when they come out the wash. I think they put on the dry clean label just to cover their backs.
