I’ve no intention of buying but it was on and I noticed. The guest is doing his best to explain how it is made and how the flavours are achieved - I.e. doing his job of promoting the unique selling points of his product.

Kathy Tayler is completely ignoring him and steam-rollering on with her inane and irrelevant chatter. Who cares which is her favourite, or how much saliva it produces in her rather large and aggressive mouth ?

In my estimation she has gone from a timid presenter for whom I had a ‘soft spot’ to an aggressive, rude but still inept bully.

I totally agree, she is a very aggressive presenter, I always feel like I'm willing her on through her frowning face full of concentration to get to the end of her mumbling, stuttering sentence. I didn't watch but wouldn't have been surprised if she threw in a bit of her daughter being a new mum, oh and the fact she's also a doctor. I can't stand the woman to be honest, her sense of entitlement just radiates through her.

Maybe her background of being a breakfast TV presenter has made her pushy ...
She was pushed out for another presenter on there I remember .. just a theory lol ...

I totally agree with you & had sent the following, as Stan would say "Me dander's up".

Please send Kathy Tayler on a Customer Care training course, one that specialises in listening skills, at the earliest possible opportunity. Her rudeness this morning, when working with the man from Joe & Seph's, was appalling. The presenters should be informed that the "Me, me, me & mine" approach isn't appropriate because they are selling products & NOT telling us their life stories.

I really can't stand popcorn. There's something about its horrible polystyrene texture, the horrible bits of kernel shell that get stuck in your teeth, not to mention and the oiliness of it. Quite why someone would pay such vast sums of money for an exploded bit of glorified sweetcorn with a bit of yucky caramel essence and a few grains of sea salt is really beyond me. The thought of Kathy Tayler extolling its virtues ad nauseum is rather funny, though.

I can't stand her either & also want to say the words for her. I didn't realise her daughter had a baby, not really surprising as I don't have any interest in either of them. I can imagine that fact is mentioned, but not as frequently as Ali K mentions hers. Like many on here I also have grandchildren but I'm aware that they are of greater interest to me & mine than anyone else. I saw KT being rude to the popcorn man but that's my total viewing of Christmas in July 2018 as I've spent most of the day in the garden with the cat, butterflies & bees.

Apologies for implying KT is a bully. I can't edit my post for some reason, so please accept this as a deletion.

I too think KT has changed her presenting style and not for the better. She IS rude and she IS aggressive, she talks over guests who are trying to present their products and all you can hear is what she thinks and what she wears and what she does and her daughter's a doctor and has had a baby and everything about her husband and the fact that she's lost weight blah blah blah. Everyone must dread working with her and I don't watch her much

Not keen on the coating on the Joe and Seph popcorn but I do like the plain salted type.

Apologies. I'll try to edit my post.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying you are wrong to say anything you said. Nor mean to sound aggressive towards you.

I just personally feel bullying is used too often to describe when someone does something to a person and someone else doesn't like it. Doing hard sell when someone is probably waffling on nonsense about a product, when they only have 8 minutes, isn't what i'd class as bullying.

Out of interest, did they mention the price of cinema popcorn at all? As if they make cinema popcorn look cheap, it must be shocking.

You've got nothing to apologise for EM, it's your opinion and just as valid as the next. I agree, she does seem to come across as a bully, well at least that's the image she portrays to the guests and viewers and it's unacceptable, so honestly don't worry about it.
