Those ****** Chinese lanterns that the emotionally stunted deploy to mark any vaguely emotional occasion are a damn nuisance. I have friends whose barn was burnt down by one landing on it, and several farmers report their cattle being terrified by these balls of fire landing in their fields.

For 30 years fireworks were banned here but people still managed to buy them and let them off, even going as far as to travel to Scotland to buy them. Mind you same people had an IQ of minus 4.

Banns are only as good as the ability and determination of authorities to enforce them. Considering they won't do anything about physical crimes against people including 90 year old folk what are the chances of them doing anything about this?

Zero !

Just read an article on LBC website about the big increase in complaints to police re drones invading peoples privacy. I didnt realise that theres all sorts of air space legislation people have to be aware of when flying drones. Most people haven't got a clue. They can be dangerous if flown too high. Drones with cameras are meant to keep a good distance from people houses etc.

Im sure before too long if complaints continue ,there will be regulations and sellers will have to make this advice known to customers in some way. That's if they're not banned outright.
