I get really confused by all the BM powders. What is mineral veil is it a finishing powder, over foundation?

Yes it's like a finishing powder over foundation that doesn't live up to any of its claims. Makes no difference whatsoever in my experience. All it does is disturb the make up underneath when you buff it on.

It's truly useless. You diligently apply your foundation, carefully apply your concealer, and then buff the mineral veil on and it just shifts the concealer around and de-conceals your spots! Biggest waste of money ever. The only effective use I can see is on no make up days to help reduce shine, but on no make up days the whole point is not to wear any make up to give your skin a break, so again it's purpose is questionable.
