I loved Babycham when in my teens and early twenties. My sister bought me a Babycham gift set for Christmas a couple of years ago - it was foul and went down the plug. Lovely glass though, in my China cabinet now ( old fashioned idea but I’ve got some nice pieces).

Two years ago I would have bought this by now. I’ve just thrown my current balance N brighten compact into the bin in disgust. It’s so dry & powdery it hardly sticks to the brush, instead falls onto clothes, furniture and even the cat. It certainly doesn’t go on the skin like a cream...

I much prefer Ophelia to Eilidh. Neither has a particularly good presenting style but Eilidh’s facial expressions are ridiculous. She’s obviously taken lessons from Simon Biagi.

It’s not very pleasant but lasts only 20 mins or so. I had my eyes done about 6 weeks apart, the first op didn’t put me off having the second done. The improvement in sight was instantaneous and it gets even better over the first few days.

I had my second cataract operation last week (first done 6 weeks ago), and currently I’m not allowed to do any housework or gardening, to wear make up or use skin products on my face. Instead, I’ve been getting my “fix” from QVC, quite proud of myself for not buying all sorts of stuff ! Next...
