I'm wondering whether we were on each other's lists before the great forum crash last year and then somehow we missed amending the situation once we were back and up and running again? I just have the strongest feeling that we were friends and I'm convinced that for once it's not my addled mind...
I survived the festive season but must say I am glad it's over now.
I think what you did for New Year is ideal and the best way to socialise at such a hectic time. Big parties can be a nightmare and there is not the opportunity to really chat in the way a small gathering offers. Glad you had a good time.

Sorry to hear that Yolanda. Hope it turns out better than you expect and that you manage to find a computer. x
Unfortunately, I'll have to go with my grotty OH (long story, but poor relationship, only still here because when Mum died, I had nowhere else to go as I had left Dallas to come over here and look after her. I had lived in Dallas for 10 years.) to Coventry and be with his cold and unemotional Dad (like father, like son...) and spend a couple of days listening to them talking about politics and other scintillating seasonal topics...
If I can get away and tootle up to his Dad's computer I'll be ST.Com-ing like a maniac!
I was going to mention you on the thread about people who were absent but I wanted to check with you first in case I had missed something due to having been fairly absent myself!
I am totally disorganised and haven't got the cards up either, not wrapped a single present and am starting to feel a touch panicky...To be honest, when you've lost family, it all seems a bit forced and uncomfortable. never mind, we'll get through one way or another...where's that sherry? lol
All the very best to you, Ria.
Lots of love, Yolanda xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I haven't seen you around for a while and have wondered whether you were okay.
I hope that you have a really lovely Christmas and wish you all the very best for 2009.
Lots of love, Yolanda xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
