Hubby is at work and I dont really have any plns this weekend just going to relax. I am out for my friends Birthday next Saturday though so looking forward to that.

Hi Toadette,

Hope you are enjoying your bank holiday there in Clyebank, and make the most of the boss being away in the coming weeks!!

Dont blame you getting out the house, I think sometimes it does not matter where you go as long as you have a bit of "me" time to relax.

we have been looking at costs of things for the home horrendous prices. Im going to try and buy of companys on ebay that I know of because they are so much cheaper then B+Q, as hubby says once the house is done its done, its more major work you see that needs doing.............. oh the mess, so I may be joining you with my flask of tea down the airport too to get out the house lol.

Hi Ellen,

yes thank you im a lot better now thanks. Just got a cold atthe moment but not swine flu thank goodness. Few sniffles although im not surprised as its raining and windy here again. Where abouts are you from as you say you have a bank Holiday where you are? I am based in Nottingham. Would love to move though as its not as good as it use to be a small second home somewhere abroad would be nice but we can dream.

Hope you have enjoyed your weekend and have a fab week. I didnt do a deal hubby works most weekends at the moment as we are trying to ge our extension done but I get out a bit with friends, so I had a nice peaceful pampering one,

We had a great holiday thanks...but have come home to so many things to sort out that I feel I need another hol already!!

Bet you had great fun with your new bikes. My hubby is very into bikes..the Tour de France is the highlight of his year! He has a BIG birthday coming up in September and I ordered him a new bike for that which was delivered yesterday. I've hardly seen him since! Lol!

Aww, Ellen, you certainly don't bore me, I love to hear about people's lives, it's nice to know how friends spend their time.
I can't meditate because for some reason my silly brain won't ever switch off, it's always buzzing with loads of stuff, no wonder I go a bit doolally from time to time. Tried hynosis, too, but they couldn't get me under and said that I just wasn't suitable for such therapy.
If nothing else I should give the neuro a bit of a laugh tomorrow, they always seem to chortle when they're reading my notes...

Hi Ellen,
I think I'm doing a teeny bit better but still not sleeping, so I'm being taken to see a neurologist tomorrow and hope he'll be able to shed some light on the matter. Thing is, 30-odd years of insomnia isn't going to improve that much, but I just want a weeny bit of sleep so that I can switch off occasionally and maybe even get some healing of me poorly mind and bod.

Hope you're okay and that life is calm and not too stressy for you right now.

Don't mind at all hun, thanks for the comments on the kitties and my decor. Trying to get decent piccies of the kitties is difficult cause maya only has one eye she tend to look abit odd in picture if not photographed right and ness just gives me dirty rotten looks when I point the camera at her lol, cats eh.
I always wanted a siamese cat, they are very clever and can be trained to use the human toilet...............or am I wrong.
I am loving reading you thread on garden visitors, keep going back it to see what peeps have in their gardens, finding it a truely fascinating (sp?) read.

Sounds like you've ordered more tarts!! your getting addicted - see i told you. I'm getting there re Christmas - i've got a master plan for the next two weeks(we'll see!!).
