I don’t think they would, as whilst we speculate about such things on here it’s actually nobody else’s business.

Of course it’s our business, they can’t pick and choose, they can’t tell you everything about their life, their grandchildren, weddings, daughters weddings, sons weddings, qualifies as doctors, go to festivals singing, vying for more followers to promote themselves, then expect people not to speculate the missing bits. They should either keep all their business to themselves, or, as they do, tell you everything from house building, birth deaths and marriages and everything in between. Everything I’ve mentioned has been heard on air, goodness knows what personal information they put on their blogs, Instagram or Facebook I wouldn’t know because their lives, however much they try to get me interested and suck me in to their personal life, bores me senseless. Even minus Z listers don’t give as much personal information as QVC presenters, and some of those minus Z listers even have talent.

One of the worst offenders for over sharing is Debbie Flint. Displaying a huge amount of poor judgement she gave out her Devon address, the routes she favoured for her walks and the day and times she worked at the local shop! How foolish is that? Obviously having learnt very little from that she draws our attention to her new address. To satisfy her need for attention and to show off she drip fed information about her new address. It wouldn’t take a top detective to work out exactly where she lives. True to form, in order to impress us with her new residence she repeatedly shares her favourite walk making herself and walk-ing companions vulnerable to any nutters out there. Unbelievable! The desperate need for attention and to show off has no boundaries. She now faces the prospect of becoming unpopular with viewers by rubbing our noses in all the freebies she is accumulating. Where is the sense in all that. Those freebies are not essential to the job. She knows full well what Cozee Home products are like. Just as she knows about Yankee Candles, Centigrade coats, Skechers, Vionic etc.
Others also give too much information but with a little more caution but they occasionally let slip too much.

We would mind our own business if these presenters didn’t make sure that we were drawn into their lives. Their business is to sell and that’s all I want to know.

I used to really enjoy QVC until it became all about the presenters and their deluded perceptions that they are celebrities.

Re AY, someone gave me an old copy of Woman &Home the other week and they had some beauty awards. AY was one of the judges. Today in the Mail there are some beauty awards where you vote for a shortlist selected by a judging panel. Take a bow Alison Young “best known for her years at QVC and has years of experience as a facialist, trainer and consultant”. She has been testing products at home and rates the Korres White Pine Meno-Reverse Deep Wrinkle Plumping and Age Spot Concentrate (12 words ffs) at £63. She also likes to gift the Jo Loves Fragrance Discovery Collection, £25.

So branching out a bit perhaps?

When she does the newspaper promos she always branches out from what is sold on QVC.

No, it’s not our business. Yes, they can pick and chose what they tell. There are other people involved. If someone has split from their partner maybe the partner doesn’t want that discussed.

But “the partner” doesn’t seem to mind every other aspect of their lives being spread for the world, or rather QVC customers to see though, at any other time, from everything including what colour knickers they’ve got on, their delusions of grandeur are confused in thinking a passing comment means anyone actually gives a toss. But like I say, if everything about their wedding is divulged in microscopic detail, they can’t be put out if someone is interested in any seperation, they put all the hard work in to invest in getting followers, then I’m afraid bad comes with the good, what is it they say, there’s no such thing as bad publicity. I’ll be honest I couldn’t give a toss what they do or how they live, but every follower they’ve worked hard to get, probably is........but we’ll have to agree to disagree.

In some cases, other parties have not agreed to all the sharing of information: Debbie said that her daughter ( or son?) has asked her not to share grandkids on SM.
DF is the ultimate "sharent", and unless explicitly reined in any interaction would be posted for all to see.
SM posts are there for ever, as even if you delete some or all of your SM, you can't control if someone has taken a screenshot or retweeted etc.

I looked up AY's husband & loved the following sentence, it makes it sound as though he changes wives on a regular basis!
'Rodger is currently married to a QVC beauty expert presenter – Alison Young'.
I didn’t know his name was Rodger I thought it was Simon. Shows you how interested I am.

I thought the "private chauffeur company" was a highfalutin way of describing he does school runs, as initially reported. In other words, he's a private hire taxi driver in most people's language.

I think it's more along the line of the old M&S food advert -
"This is not just a taxi service. This is a private chauffeur company".

Don’t forget JR. We heard enough about that too. Does anyone remember someone putting a veil on her head and her walking arm in arm with Simon Wilson at the end of a presentation?

Her son said he didn't want his child on social media & her daughter followed his lead when she had her baby. The way Flinty announced this made it clear that she was reluctantly accepting their decisions. Or maybe I read too much into it, probably because I don't like what I see.
