Take a look at ebay and amazon. I got my Medium Gabbie bag on ebay, similar to the TSV, practically new but much reduced and it's a decent size for a Medium bag. But there are so many others, it's worth a look.
It always fascinates me to see people with long nails using a keyboard. Some tap with the nail end, some lay their hands flat on the keyboard.
But let's not be too judgmental. There must be some practical uses for having claws. Maybe they're just better for scratching whatever needs to be...
You don[t have to spend a fortune on them, either. Just look on ebay where people can't get rid of them fast enough and there are bargains to be had. Admittedly they're not fashion leaders and some of them can look a bit boring but they do the job better than "your" (to quote QVC) Radley/Aimee...
The time when you could get a decent size new Kipling bag for the £30 mark is now long gone. I don't buy any more because what I've got (from Q and ebay) will see me out.
One of my biggest QVC mistakes (there have been so many over the years it's hard to pick them out) was a Bruce Makowsky rich brown leather shoulder bag with rose gold trimmings. It looked gorgeous but weighed a ton so I hardly ever used it and someone at a charity shop will have got a good buy -...
And unlike some of the other presenters and guests, he's always appropriately dressed and looks good in whatever he wears. Yes, his delivery is monotone and repetitive, but he comes across as a decent guy.
I bought one of the denim colours to replace a too-small denim jacket that was just too expensive to get rid of, but it's gone now because this one is just what I wanted. I've no need for any more, though.
Why??? do they persist in putting the poor bigger girls into dresses that are straining at the bust with gaping and wrinkling? Who authorises these looks? All it says to me is that the dress is either very badly cut or the models should go up a size - or two. The only one who looks anything like...
All I wanted as a little girl was curly hair and I think a lot of people look better with their natural curls. Who is spending this much on this contraption? In this day and age of rampant inflation etc???
And why do they all have to have so many pockets when I end up putting everything in my bag??? I deliberately take smaller bags with me now but it still happens.
:(:unsure::confused:
OMG. Memories of scary Miss Church, long since put to the back of my mind, have just come flooding back. I don't know why she taught cookery because she didn't like children (me in particular) although she did teach me that "a stew boiled is a stew spoiled". But despite her, I managed to feed a...
We're not fooled by their free p&p days which is just smoothing over the cracks. Could do better, QVC, if your profits are as huge as you make out (our number one shopping channel etc) so if your products were all sensibly priced you could always offer free p&p which is now so ridiculous it has...
Those of you willing to spend £100-200 on a 4-slice Dualit toaster also have the option of a 2-slice Kitchenaid or Smeg toaster for £155-160 or a 4-slice Smeg toaster for £205.
We have a Dormeo mattress and it is very comfortable, though I can't speak for Octosmart toppers. We still use our Magniflex topper - remember them and that lovely Italian man who sadly died a few years ago?
