Snotty letter from Bid customer services

I'm tempted to buy something online again to see if they actually process and dispatch the order rather than cancel it themselves. But I can't be bothered to meddle with the shoddy customer services anymore ...

Snotty letter from Bid customer services

In relation to this post: I have today received what I would class as a nasty letter. Here are 2 quotes from the letter, when reading this take into account my post above: I find this very hard to take in being as they were the ones at fault, not me.

    V Channel Service

This channel originated from another channel called Deal TV (I think?) Well the same thing happened to me on that channel which is why I'm assuming the above. It was for a gemstone globe and they said it was out of stock also adding that the recent bank holiday had messed up their stock numbers!!

    Sit-Up channels themes

Contains all the themes except the most recent Price-Drop and the second one Bid-Up had for a short time that was horrendous before they quickly changed it.

    Free p&p!!!!

The A frame ladder has sold for £64.99 before with the £7.99 p&p so that was a bad deal. Though the halogen was a good deal so it seems like some things were a good deal but others weren't so they were making the postage back on certain items.

    Bid reviews

I got a bad review. Monday evening around 8:45pm Bid sold the 7 inch Yarvik tablet for £59.99 I bought through the website and sure enough my name came along the bottom of the screen. I have not received any email from them confirming my purchase or indeed to say the item has been dispatched...

Selling Vivitar cameras without memory cards

Indeed, I remember when Sit-Up first sold Vivitar cameras you could guarantee they were sold for around £10 per mega pixel. These days it's around £1 per mega pixel. I got a Sony Cybershot 13.1mp camera and I paid almost £120 for it but not from them, you can't beat any Sony product for quality.

Megadrops are back again on bid

Don't knock them, at least they are doing a few decent products for a quid. Whoever gets the megadrops are lucky peeps :)

Megadrops are back again on bid

I saw that dee, all i can assume is that the first phone number was open and before they quickly closed it 2 'lucky' people with VERY fast dialling fingers managed to get through and bag it before they closed that line and reopen it on another line.

I hope your not thinking B for Bragging about their quality products. I'm very sorry but you are wrong

    Calling bid from a mobile.

I have called from my mobile before and I got a recorded message from my provider (Orange) saying this call will cost more than £1.50. I have seen Mark Ryes order from his mobile live on air. It was for a 3 pack of canvas prints. He even showed his phone to the camera with the bid number on it...

Kate the chef's latest claim to fame...

No, I haven't seen her for a long time. Perhaps she became a victim of her own cooking

Price drop in bid plus studio

The Price Drop studio is being converted into a casino room. They are starting a late night roulette that will go live in august. It is believed to be called Roulette Bid with the same presenters spinning a brand new innovative wheel that works with magnets. The phone number will be an 0904...

    The top ten of tat!

I bought a pair of Pennine Ridge trainers a few years ago. Badly stitched and of course they started to fall apart a few weeks later. And their clothing sizes are absolutely horrendous. I ordered a small shirt from them, I am a medium from all high street retailers so knowing their sizes are...

    Marina Berry and the stick...

Not sure if this has been posted before but it makes me chuckle. Was on 17th Jan 2013. Marina tries to break the Bid set with the duster.

Upheld Complaints Against Sit Up - 12 June 2013

I bought the mini coffee maker from them when there was a £10 credit promotion. Needless to say it never showed in my account. I haven't chased it up as it would probably cost me as much or more to get it and then how many times do you see items over £10 that you can use these vouchers on, and...
