Looks like a doublet to me. I do have some opals that are backed by natural host rock, but the line between the two is wavy and uneven in thickness, not straight like the ones in your picture.

I love B&B, panic if mine is running low especially if I'm holding out for the next TSV. I hate the feel of makeup on my face and it feels more like powder than foundation.

Just checked an invoice - the last date for return is just above QVC's address on the return label

I bought something at the beginning of November that wasn't in the extended MBG so I think you might be out of luck, sorry. Check on the invoice, somewhere it should say 'Last day for return is.........'

The other good thing about buying sandstone from the high street is that you can choose the exact piece you prefer (says she, having just sorted through a display of 10 sandstone hearts in order to get the best one!) It's too variable for me to risk ordering from the internet.

Thanks Sazza Ouch, that's a bit more expensive than I thought it was going to be - I'm lucky enough to have the complete strand of Tahitians that was a TSV about a year ago & was £300ish, which seems much better value for money in comparison (especially as my pearls are barely ringed at all)...
