Tuned in tonight to see - I think her name is Ruth Linnett? - blonde hair, pretty woman - not looking so pretty with cuts across her forehead, stitches above her ear and sticking plaster on her chest. :56:

I never heard her mention what exactly what accident befell her...but I know that she took every opportunity to remind us of her cuts and bruises and 'not feeling too well tonight'.

Now I expect she is feeling grotty...but surely, surely they could have let her have some time off?

Okay, maybe she didn't want the time off and that's fine, but if you choose the role of 'brave soldier' then don't continually go on and on about your wounds and how ill you feel cos I quickly lost all sympathy...it just turned into a whinge...:24:

:Hiya: TV Shopper. I didn't watch long enough to hear her wingeing, but it wasn't Ruth it was Jerrilee Bonnar. I flicked over to hear Vicky Burton saying something about someone being attacked by a cat but didn't listen as I can't stand the woman so turned to another channel immediately. However, flicking over later on hoping to see John, I saw Jerrilee with her scratches and all, so putting 2 and 2 together I assume it was her who was attacked by a cat. I could be wrong but it wouldn't surprise me one bit - she probably did her usual shrieking and scared the cat half to death!! Poor cat - hope she phoned the feline version of Childline!!

hi Guys

I flicked over and heard her say she had eben at her friends for dinner. Her friend had gotten a new cat (I think Jerliee has a dog... anyway... ) the cat attacked her ... she showed some of her scars close up ... she had the (not sure what they are called) but the strips that hold cuts together on her eyebrow, face and through her hair ... in the middle of her head on top there was a gash which looked really bad too

She said she had been 2 hours in A&E getting everything looked at and cleaned up (there was still blood through her hair and she got a tetanus in her bum which she said was was very sore)

I hadnt liked her much, but ... after seeing the results of the attack close up (and it really was close up) ... good for her for showing up!!

She had said if she hadnt, they would have cut the show time short ... she was still there at just before 2am!!

I dont usually see her as I work during the day and shes not on nights a lot, but, warmed to her a bit last night!

hope she feels better soon and her friend gets her cat sorted out!!!

Oops!! I didn't know she had some bad injuries or I wouldn't have made such flippant, tongue in cheek remarks! It's that Foot and Mouth Disease of mine again!!

Cats are very intuitive..........:54: Hope the puss is okay. ;) :pPC:

How strange! Wonder what she was doing to the cat. :6: I've handled feral cats and never been that badly attacked, a few scratches yes, but no gashes or visits to A&E!

Much as she's not my favourite presenter i do have some sympathy for Jerilee after her ordeal, i allso think it showed some guts showing up looking like she did. Certain other diva presenters on that channel most certainly would not have.

Attacked by a cat my arse and then ends up A&E for 2 hours, methinks she's telling porkies:18: I wonder what the docs and nurses thought about her story :54:

She's probably been out on the lash and ended up brawlin' with a cat of the human variety - lol. <a href="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fwww.smileycentral.com%252F%253Fpartner%253DZSzeb008%255FZNxpt484YYGB%2526i%253D13%252F13%255F4%255F7%2526feat%253Dprof/page.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/13/13_4_7.gif" alt="SmileyCentral.com" border="0"><img border="0" src="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fimgfarm%252Ecom%252Fimages%252Fnocache%252Ftr%252Ffw%252Fsmiley%252Fsocial%252Egif%253Fi%253D13%252F13_4_7%2526uiv%253D3.0/image.gif"></a>

That's exactly what I'm thinking MOMAD. To cause that many injuries it must have been huge so why did her friends not pull the ferocious creature off her, was it a lion ffs and did someone have to dial 999 and have it shot???????? Imo a very large pinch of salt needs to be taken with this story. :pPC:

Or can I be really catty and suggest they were the two cats involved?:54:

To top off the look I seem to remember she was wearing white knee-high boots. Very classy!
