Is IW guilty of breaking the trades descriptions act?

not everyone has access to C&C channel as its only on sky and freesat us with virgin media and freeview dont have it but freeview is getting a little as of next week

On the subject of why IW put on so much craft, I suppose we have to face it - they make more money on it than on anything else :thinking2:

In much the same way as I visit a greengrocer to buy onions but not carrots and a butcher to buy lamb but not sausages I choose to watch IW for certain things that I am interested in and ignore the rest.

If you have a good look at your television set and its instruction booklet you will find there is a button which will allow you to either change the channel or to switch it off completely. Nobody has his foot on your neck forcing you to watch anything on IW or anywhere else.

I am fairly new to this forum and I can't believe the amount of whining and complaining that goes on. If you have a gripe about something serious, such as bad customer service, breach of contract or taking money under false pretences then all well and good but carrying on in such a childish manner because the channel is selling things you, personally, don't like but others might is quite beyond the pale.

And I am not just getting at you, Louise66. There is a lot of immature silliness in this forum.

As they say tuff if they can't view for what ever a reason live with it you can't take over a channel because other people can't sort there viewing out.
There is another sex out there QVC IDW there all tits and nickers.

Eh? No-one on here is 'taking over' the channel, its all IW choice what they show and sell and on what channel!

OF COURSE nothing todo with choice is it IDW PAYS FOR CHANNELthen
wihich serves no purpose as regards channel take over both QVC AND IDW products are female items it is saying something after years on air they can only atract women it is the same in the HI street you go in the main stores
what do you get at least half the ground floor all womans stuff where's the mensware oh at the back of the store or on the second floor again at the back.

Yes it would be great if High Streets and shopping channels were half and half for men and women but men just don't shop. Ok, some like to shop but the majority don't. The men I know woud rather poke their own eyes out than spend an afternoon cruising the high street.

Business is business and women spend the most that's why retail caters mostly to them.

Exactly right where it belongs (except for Ian's blingy T's of course). In fact a few yards further and out into the yard would suit me. Don't know what they're thinking of putting menswear where we can even see it in the distance
