Vol au vent and whatsherface….the woman who speaks almost monotone and slowly? Can't remember.

Anyway, they were doing a show together with the Alcatel 10 inch android tablet "it's amazing" she says "I wish I hadn't paid all that money for mine when this does everything mine does and more"

She says that just because a tablet has a "piece of fruit on the back" doesn't mean it is a better tablet than this £90 one. Errmmm, yes it does love!

She says she has genuinely never seen a tablet as amazing as this one. It even has a kids mode which she has never seen on a tablet before. So I assume she has literally never seen tablets before?

Vol au vent then shows us how you can watch tv shows on it, and how clear they are on that HD screen! Much better than squinting at a phone screen he exclaims.

But hang on Volly, you were showing some phone the other day and said you watch TV on it so you don't need to take a tv on holiday with you (He was doing his suitcase thing) - make your mind up matey

Needless to say the comments came thick and fast that contradicted most of the things he was saying the phone was amazing for a couple of days ago :mysmilie_19:

Well I've just seen that Caroline woman and that Simon selling what they called a Tourbillon Watch for £800 and it is just a simple open heart model. Are Ideal World completely ignorant of what a Tourbillon is, or are they just taking the pi*&? This is just a downright fraud!!! How low can they stoop???

I hope people don't fall for this one!!!

What I can't understand is why PS is continually telling buyers to take their watches to a specialist to get it valued. There is no way on earth anyone reputable would put a high value on these things so I'm guessing he is either confident that very few people will actually bother to do it or just doesn't care either way.

Also, it can't be said enough; every single one of these watches is just so ugly. There is a world of difference between these cheap designs and those from geniune 'quality' watch makers.

Did anyone see Mikey boy last night with that toy drone? "Is it £800, is it £700 blah blah" was his opening comment. No, it's a £30 drone which you're charging £70 for!! "This is the best drone I ever saw" he said. Well if that's the best drone you've ever seen, then it's possibly the only drone you've ever seen.


Mire was demonstrating the thing saying they'd designed the drone from scratch. Oh really, I bought the same drone last year from TomTop to use as a practice drone in the garden, instead of using my DJI Mavic Pro. I paid around £30 for it. Use it in a stiff breeze outside, and you can say good bye to it. It's as light as a feather.

Yes I saw a bit of this and they were talking up the drone as usual (calling it 'professional', etc.), as well as saying that you could fly this drone 'anywhere'. Later on they did mention the Drone Code as well as displaying the details as a scrolling ticker onscreen but anyone who didn't see that part of the presentation would have been oblivious to any restrictions, being led to believe that indeed you could fly this thing absolutely anywhere.

The only reason I watch Ideal World is because it is so awful. It may be the funniest show on telly right now! Why anybody would actually order anything is beyond me. The presenters are the lowest of the low: - the grinning spiv who loves himself, the aging dead-eyed dirty one! the terrible husband and wife duo, etc.

The lies, childish background crew, the weird cutting off presenters talk at the end of each hour, it's hilarious. You get what you pay for, so good luck if you are stupid enough to buy any of the worthless products repeatedly churned out daily by these idiots. I LOVE this dire show, so keep churning it out!

I'm the same, it's just so, so bad, it's gobsmackingly addictive :mysmilie_19: I had noticed, just lately, that hardly any of the presenters are not cut off mid flow at the end of the hour. I think the only one that manages to finish is Mike Mason.

Also it's the only place where the 'expert' hardly gets a look in and is completely swamped by the 'presenter'......and I use those two names very lightly as the 'expert' is anything but usually, more like a mate of someone working there in some capacity or hired from the agency of out of work actors...........as for 'presenter', they're just someone with the gift of the gab who can rattle on forever and a day.

The models are a joke these days too.

When Simon was selling that so called tourbillon last night he said they only had 10 of them. A little time later he said they'd sold 45%. How's that work then? Could they possibly have sold four and a half watches?

I can only agree with you, but I watch it as its a guilty pleasure of awfulness.

Oh man...watching Richard "shouty shouty" Dire and that welsh mare doing the drone show.

"Have you ever seen a drone as stable as that" he exclaims, and just like his other drones, he wuickly grabs a hold of it as it starts wandering off across the studio. In fact he does it several times.....claims it has stability control, and has to immediately either grab it, or take over the controls because it is anything but stable.

Then he waffles on about the free VR headset! But you can see how vomit inducing that would be because of the complete lack of stabilisation with the picture image of the camera. It is a jerky mess. If you watched that footage with a VR headset, you'd either throw your guts up, or develop epilepsy!

"Imagine taking photos or video of yourselves from up in the air"....except with a camera that points directly ahead and has no gimble control, you'd be taking pictures of the clouds!

I feel sorry for anybody who buys that thing, and hope they do the right thing and send it straight back. Total rip off.

He is so full of it, that it makes me want to shoot the TV.
