you know you want to.... :13:

Why have you got a picture of Julie jiving in her nightie?

****** hell, thats the first time I've seen 'bad feet Julie' strike a pose other than one out of a 1950's catalogue.....maybe she's been sent on a course.

Yes, why do all the models all stand in the same pose? They don't walk around, just swing their arms out and twirl back into the same position. Very odd. Very Marshall Ward - I was mere child when my mom had that catalogue :)

Awwh Beauty - you like it, you have it. Can't all be the same, and they must sell or they wouldn't do 'em. However, I do think its more of a Mrs James outfit (that's if we could get her out of her bliddy kaftans). <a href="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fwww.smileycentral.com%252F%253Fpartner%253DZSzeb008%255FZNxpt484YYGB%2526i%253D16%252F16%255F12%255F9%2526feat%253Dprof/page.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/16/16_12_9.gif" alt="SmileyCentral.com" border="0"><img border="0" src="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fimgfarm%252Ecom%252Fimages%252Fnocache%252Ftr%252Ffw%252Fsmiley%252Fsocial%252Egif%253Fi%253D16%252F16_12_9%2526uiv%253D3.0/image.gif"></a>
like i say i like it but would not wear it or order it, whats this all about kaftans fill me in please:55:

It's a very sad story actually Beauty. Our once lithe ex-beauty queen/model, Mrs James (yes that Mrs James, whose name was synonymous with that of Miss World and Vogue magazine), unfortunately developed an addiction for madeira cake whilst socialising. However, after having experimented with various cakes, she finally ended up on the streets as a
completely hooked battenberg addict. Selling herself for her next fix, stealing, talking to Snoops, just nothing was too low for a fix.

Sadly, due to her habit, she ballooned into the sorry creature you see from time time on here, pathetically seeking attention. However, of all this the worst part is that, in order to cover her voluminous sagging shape, the only things she can find to do the job are kaftans (in her case a duvet cover with a hole cut out for her head) and fleaflots.

I hope this tale hasn't upset you too much Beauty, but you did ask, and I get the feeling you're not the type of young lady to be fobbed off with any old story.

Try not to have bad dreams now, because you know that it's not over until <a href="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fwww.smileycentral.com%252F%253Fpartner%253DZSzeb008%255FZNxpt484YYGB%2526i%253D36%252F36%255F13%255F4%2526feat%253Dprof/page.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_13_4.gif" alt="SmileyCentral.com" border="0"><img border="0" src="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fimgfarm%252Ecom%252Fimages%252Fnocache%252Ftr%252Ffw%252Fsmiley%252Fsocial%252Egif%253Fi%253D36%252F36_13_4%2526uiv%253D3.0/image.gif"></a>

Well thanks for the info im glad i know and i will try not to have too many nightmares

Will "She-she" do? Think it must be Ellis's new word of the day, as she's currently cavorting around in a bobbly cardigan, that's masquerading as a "boucle jacket"...it's ever so "she-she" you know!

I've sussed out the pig o the day....it looks like a bliddy flag!

PLEASE don't "mod" me for what I am about to write. I do not mean to upset anyone on here.

When I was younger "chi-chi" was a VERY insulting term for someone of mixed eastern and european blood particularly in relation to their accent. It is still in use as such amongst a certain type of person.

I have written to IW complaining about its use - no reply, of course, but then what did I expect.

How's it pronounced...Like "chee chee" or "shee shee"? Not that I've heard of either word really. Shee shee..I dunno what Ellis meant really..they love making up their own words...zhuzh anyone?

Sad as I am, I've just looked it up, I came across chichi..pronounced Shee shee..and by all accounts it means affectedly trendy!

I'm an ancient lady (and probably a "certain type of person" as I'm 'ere ain't I) and have only ever heard chi-chi used in relation to pretentiousness fashion-wise.
