I think they are very pretty pieces, but I'm still disappointed to see Ali and Colin's special day reduced to a couple of item numbers in the QVC warehouse system.

I could be wrong but my initial thought when I saw this on the web first was that it was designed by Alison the eek guest given that she specialises in bridal "big" jewellery.

It does rather smack of the Anthea Turner & Grant Bovey nuptials when they chewed on a Cadbury Flake !

Nice pieces anyway, but for a wedding my taste would be more discreet - this is a bit My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding.

It's also the assumption that QVC thinks there are 'fans' (viewers / followers) who actually want to buy an expensive keepsake of a presenter's wedding that I find a bit insulting... I barely need reminders of my own family's happy events yet alone those of an absolute stranger.

The delusions of grandeur of QVC shopping telly sales assistants holds no bounds. Slutty self published "novels" diet guru, own website, social media queen (Debbie Flint) Autobiography/novel (Julia Roberts) copies of their wedding rings (Alison Young) copies of bridal jewellery (Alison Keenan).........it's comical really that they think people hold them in such high esteem (granted some do)............wonder when the woman behind the cake counter in Morrisons is bringing out her autobiography?

Probably beacuase kids grow so fast they would be too small within the 30 day window and they'd all be sent back!!

An Alison Young personalised shimmer brick with added neon glow.
The gardening bloke could bring out a range of personalised gnomes you paint yourself, each one in the likeness of a presenter.
DF could write another book entitled " How to make friends and influence them" and it comes with a signed photo so you can kiss it everyday.

Yes, so that being the case, I guess she had to wear them. All I felt about Alison's wedding was that she is no spring chicken, she looked lovely on her day, but at her age I think a different style of dress and jewellery were more apt. I would say this even if it was someone else's wedding at that age, however, I wish them every happiness.

Don't know where Colin got his outfit, but it did not fit him properly.

Oh, I am sooo glad you said that about Colin's clothes. I didn't want to comment in case I was thought 'picky'. Men seem not to look in the mirror when they get married. The trousers are usually concertinaed on their shoes, and the BIG bugbear is the length of the sleeve, usually ending halfway down the palm of the hand - NO, it has to finish at the wrist with 1/2 inch of shirt cuff showing below. (I worked in a men's outfitters for a short while, so know about this stuff).
