I base my statement on an observation of people shopping at Birchwood, Warrington yesterday. The racks down both sides of the shop had quite a few Dennis Basso creations, the number of people I heard saying they liked one of his coats until they saw the label and stepped away from them was no one's business. I was one of them I am afraid, I won't wear one on principle.

It was noticeable that people were happy to buy the Centigrade coats though.

When I went to the US recently I was revolted to see a DB shop when I looked down from my hotel room window. I am pleased to report that I didn't see a single person go in there though. Although I did see many other fur shops, and a lot of people were wearing real fur - it does seem fairly commonplace in other countries I'm afraid.
