Just caught the first few minutes of the lunchtime show with Chloe and Craig. Am I watching CBeebies? Hurrah it’s WEDNESDAY!! Shouts Craigie waving his arms about. Both dancing about like a couple of kids - what fun! Now the idiot from tweak’d has appeared with a chappie in a bright yellow plastic looking top having his hair washed. Now he’s talking about mom - did you know she’s 83 and has been ill? In case we didn’t know, he’ll tell us again (and again , and again) no doubt he’ll wheel her out in a minute. I’m done, I think I’ll go for a walk in the rain.
Most of the programmes on CBeebies are excellent, I know because I watch a fair amount. The tat peddlers are so arrogant they obviously believe that they have jobs for life & those who behave in an immature way have always been the ones I despise the most. It's been written on here many times that if people who have real jobs in sales behaved the way the Q's ego fiends do they'd be shown the door. Every person who has served me in a shop during the last 10 months has given the best service under difficult working conditions & not one has giggled with other colleagues over private jokes, shown photos of their families or danced!

I so agree with everything you said, also on the “mom” thing.

Aah, but what you're all forgetting is that these people don't class themselves as sales(wo)men because they're not just sales(wo)men, they're QVC sales(wo)men - who prefer to be called presenters. Now I wonder if they'll take that as their next mantra? "This isn't just any old *** - it's QVC ***."

(Sorry, M&S - I love you really).

I really don't like Craig, his continual arm waving is distracting and he is only suitable for childrens' hour; and I really don't like trashy Chloe, no explanation necessary.
He used to be on a Childrens programme don't know if he still is.

There are many reasons why I believe QVC will eventually fail. Overpriced polyester, postage and returns charges and last but not least the overpaid / over rewarded “ presenters “ with their super inflated egos. It’s like a badly organised panto. I can’t stand watching any of them. What a collection of difficult to like self obsessed, self serving people. It’s as if they follow this forum and then collectively stick two fingers up. They are deluded if they think that is the way they should react to people who ultimately pay their wages.

QVC is analogue in a digital world. Some of us have moved onto larger companies with more competitive pricing & faster delivery, others have discovered independents & businesses that specialise in areas the Q wouldn't be interested in. I buy from an online company run by two sisters, last weekend they did an offer of a free wooden scoop with all orders £15+, I was going to place an order before seeing this so this was a nice extra. What I received is a quality item , good enough to be given a part of a bigger gift for someone, & perfect for any kind of scooping! Next day p&p is £3.95, everything is wrapped in tissue that's substantial so can be re-used & every purchase gets me points to go towards future orders.

Absolutely spot on Evie, 100%. ❤️

Yes, truth hurts.

:LOL:Gloria Honeyford in her 80s is.wearing them. They are on trend on for women 40+.

I own a pair out on sale years back, they are great for walking in the.snow. mine are the children at size 2.:D:p
What are they, donna? I must have missed something.

My mum and dad had some mukluk snow boots back in the late 1970s. I nabbed my mum's pair and I found them brilliant in heavy snow even when it was compacted and slippy. I was able to keep upright and steady friends who were in danger of slipping over.
I am sure mum bought them from a catalogue or mail order ad.
Wonder whether the poor quality items sold by Q are due to cost cutting... I'll answer that with a "yes".
