Well well, what a surprise - NOT! [/h]He has no interest in playing for his country, he only played last year because he had to, in order to be part of the British Olympic team. All Murray is interested in is glory for himself.

Haven't been watching this but it doesn't surprise me that Murray isn't participating. He doesn't come across as a 'team' player but surely it would help to build up his army of fans if he could drop his selfish attitude once in a while? Perhaps he's at that rebellious stage with Mummy......:thinking:

Murray is no different to Henman and Rusedski, they didn't always make themselves available for Davis Cup and until the ATP Tour is altered in similar way that the WTA has been, and the players don't have to play so many mandatory tournaments in order to keep their rankings up then Britain and other Countries are going to have to put up with their top players not being available.

Murray actually has a huge following and not just in Britain, he has many supporters around the world. He recently did an "audience with Andy Murray" on Radio 5 live and generally his attitude has improved greatly over the last couple of years.
