I really like Richard Osman and although his first novel The Thursday Murder Club is not my usual reading I thought it might make a lighter change.
How wrong I was! I read about 3 books a week so obviously there have been a few mingers but this was up with the worst of them made even more annoying that I had paid full price whereas I normally go for Kindle deals.
I'm not surprised that it has been commissioned as a TV show as it will fit nicely into the bland television we now seem to be inundated with. Although I’ve never watched them as the trailers just shout no no no to be I imagine it to fit into the Agatha Rasin or Rosemary & Thyme type of thing.
