the stick vacs are a dream but you need to be able to understand how they work. if you can they last a long time and do a great job. plus you don't have to buy all the latest models

A friend had one of the vacuums not the stick but the proper upright. She also had a cheap Tesco normal sort one. I swear nearly every week I called in she was using the cheap one. The belt in the Dyson seemed to break and she had to get another one at least a few times a month. It got dumped after a few years.

The ex had the huge Dyson vacuum cleaner and then, when that conked out, opted for the stick one. He wasn’t that impressed with that either. He’s now got a different make (I can’t remember which one) and seems quite happy zooming around with it,

I’ve never had a Dyson product.I think they are overpriced .
I swear by my Henryhoover. I had the original for 15 years It just conked out and I replaced it with another
I toyed with a few uprights over the years but can’t beat the Henry.

I think all vendors pay for airtime obviously Jimmy Boy has spent more.

Just as with supermarkets the suppliers have to pay for the position on the shelves.
