Good to know:

Do not use the carpet glider tool on non-carpet surfaces
Not all floor types are suitable for steam cleaning
Do not use on unsealed flooring
Do not let the unit stand on any wood or heat-sensitive floor for an extended period of time
When using on vinyl, linoleum or any other heat-sensitive floors, use extra caution, as too much heat can melt glue in the flooring
Use only on laminated flooring that has been laid professionally and without gaps or cracks that would allow the entry of moisture
When in doubt, consult a flooring specialist
Rinse blue mop cloths before use
Don’t leave blue mop cloths standing on light flooring after use

Sign up to Wowcher. They were doing an offer on this but I'm not sure that it's still going. I do know that it was so much cheaper than buying it from Q.

Sod it, I bought one yesterday for £49.99 without accessories from Argos, because my kitchen floor is in desperate need of a clean.

That's a shame. I don't think this one had any accessories but it was £10 cheaper. It's worth signing up to Wowcher - not that I buy very much but some of the stuff that's on offer seems very interesting. Be careful what you tick as your interests though - you may get bombarded with sex toys!

Another H2O steam mop TSV! I suppose QVC and Thane Direct won't stop until every home in the country has at least one of these.

Now what were we saying about how boring and predictable QVC's TSVs have become???

I can't believe they are still flogging this. It has to have a design fault that leaks water all over the floor after a few uses. When this happened to me and I called customer services the woman I spoke to said that they had so many returns for the same reason ( wonder if she's still working there?)
Check the reviews and see how often this problem crops up
I'd never buy this brand again, I reckon qvc bought thousands after the first stock sold so quickly they are just trying to shift the outstanding stock, now many of us are wise to the problem with this cleaner
I'd recommend buying a better known brand from a high St retailer or online but not this one.

Which one would you recommend then ? there are so many makes - like vacuum cleaners, that its tough to know which one to buy. I did have an H20 before and never had a problem with it, although its a faff changing the pads. I'm only replacing it because my puppy decided to chew one of the corners so all the plastic has sharp edges and scrapes the floor. Horses for courses I suppose.

Mine broke in a week, QVC replaced it then that broke, so they sent another and yes that broke so I admitted defeat. They may say they've sold a million but what they fail to tell you is that 999.980 probably returned them.

They will doubtless turn it into a positive sales spin - so many repeat purchases, it proves it is popular/a wonderful product blah blah blah.

I've had a shark on from QVC which was brilliant until it started leaking water everywhere. Even though it had been over a year QVC gave a full refund. Now I have a cheapie one from Asda but it does the job and I'm quite happy with it.
