At least ideal world let them talk
I think there's probably a good reason it doesn't happen on Q - What would you have to say if you had to stand there wearing a sheet of polyester wedged between the crack of your ar$e, a lime green straitjacket , and a t-shirt bearing a slogan that was clearly imagined by a class of primary school kids?

been told just to stand like ****** statues and not move a muscle ? Watching some fashion shows today and Kipling shows, they are just stood like mannequins ! I wanted to see if the split skirt by Kim & Co was on both sides, but the model just swayed from side to side and that was it ! didn't turn around or walk forward, nothing. Same with the rest of fashion, no movement or walking around so we get an all round view. The Kipling show is even worse as the camera work doesn't focus on the bag and flicks about so we never get to see the details. Again with the shoes, the model just ups her foot and never steps off the fluffy rug !

Going from bad to worse. Bring back the cat-walk.
That fluffy carpet, as well as being a totally pointless hazard, shouldn't be used when shoes are being modelled. It's just plain daft to half-hide the articles you are trying to sell. I just don't get why they hide garments with hair, other garments and cross-body bags. Let's have a look at the sleeves, the length, the cut etc. and yes, bring back the old cat-walk/runway.

Most don't seem to know how to "model". Obviously given instructions from stylists/gallery/camera operators,, but they don't move the handbag when worn or unzip it, they never move to show what shoes look like from all angles, they just turn from side to side to show a garment and rarely turn around to show the reverse, so its clearly a new directive from above, which doesn't do the product any favours.

Handbags are my pet peeve. I want to see what pockets are inside, and the outside from different angles. I don't need to look at the outside for however many minutes the slot is while they discuss what it will go with.

There are now older models with awful white/grey unruly hair. Please introduce them to the many hair styling products that QVC are awash with!
The grey look I truly cannot stand … even if they are stunningly Beautiful.. long and grey no thank you short and grey I can handle … I don’t know why … I think for me I just disassociate with a witch 🤦🏻‍♀️ lol … There’s i many beautiful hair products and colours out there ..

I know what you mean. There's something a bit 'unsettling' about a model in a magazine having her grey mane flowing behind her like Desert Orchid ! However, I was on a cruise and saw the most beautiful couple who were Japanese. She had her hair in a long bob with fringe and it was the most fabulous grey with black undertones, her husband (I'm assuming) was equally striking with distinguished grey at the side of his George Clooney haircut.

My hair used to be almost black but as it's super fine I've had a short pixie cut for many years; it's going silver now that I am approaching 60 but I am often complimented by total strangers and asked if I have highlights etc. so I guess it looks OK. It's quite rare to see grey hair here in Italy, most women dye their hair as a matter of course. I am not keen on long grey hair either, especially if it's dry and a bit curly. I have been tempted to bleach it totally (like the model Cordelia) but always chicken out. There's time for that I suppose!

Japanese hair is beautiful.

RL often asks the models wearing her clothes if they are comfortable and so on. What could they say, except 'yes'? A ridiculous question on her part. A better idea is to ask the shoe models if they have gone up or down a size. This would really help. But, oh no.

I think its laughable that RL has her own logo, she's nowhere in the same league as Michael Kors, Mulberry, or any other luxury accessory designer. I don't buy her products, and certainly wouldn't want to answer the question "who is RJL ?" on something I had paid close to or over £100 !!!! anyway why give her the publicity ?

Exactly

An UNBELIEVABLY GOOD article in today's D/Mail, a leather specialist from Turkey blows wide open the reason for the sky high charges of 'designer' handbags. Anyone who lusts after them, should read this article first. And by his analogy the bags old Ruthless flogs should only be worth around 30 quid !!!

That's why I don't give a stuff if I buy a "fake" designer bag abroad.
The bags I've bought have lasted me years and let's face it,a lot are probably made in the same Chinese factories.

Me neither, I bought a fake Louis Vuitton weekend bag for a tenner in a bootsale a long while ago and it lasted me years. I bought it because I liked the design, but some of these designer bags are so vulgar looking, and I much rather tell people that my designer bag is fake than admitting that it's a geniune Ruth Langsford!

Ain't that the truth

Also dress the models in the black colour-option so we can’t see the details, poor stitching, rough hemline etc.
