Totally agree Toril. Imo tweeters are attention seeking idiots who obviously have nothing better to do, and who gives a fook anyway about the minutiae of their self obsessed lives?? :sleepy: Bloggers get on my tits as well.

I have an American friend who uses his MySpace blogs as cheap "therapy". Well, he says that, but it became more and more a cry for attention: the less people paid, the more extreme the posts to get people's sympathy.

I find it VERY off-putting: there are aspects of my life that are not for sharing with my closest friends, never mind general consumption.

Maybe I'm too "private", but I find the current prediliction for people to share their innermost and darkest secrets with all and sundry quite disturbing.

I should imagine reading other people's blogs & tweets would be a very good cure for insomnia :sleepy:

Err, excuse me! pugs are not dim witted - my two know exactly how to twist me round their curly tails and get exactly what they want, and, I might add, their toilet manners are far superior to those being discussed here.

Seeriously, I think I really am too old for this world, could not believe what I am reading in this thread and shall certainly not bother to read lewd tweets. Sad that someone in the public eye should think this sort of behaviour is acceptable, far less boast about it.

Good luck to you being exploited by pugs. My little one was extremely intelligent but sadly Figgy is thick. Some of it being nobody socialised him and he hasn't a clue how to behave. I love him though.:bear:

I don't like the toilet humour as I have said, prissy me. What I can't understand is someone getting emo over the fact people don't share a particular opinion about humour. When Sir Norman Wisdom died people on here were respectful while still being able to say slapstick humour doesn't float their boat. I have a very sick sense of humour with some of what I can and do laugh at. I don't share it with the world in general not because I'm afraid people won't like me but because I don't wish to gratuitously offend or upset anyone. I know the answer to this view is that you'd never say anything then but it's not like that, it's just a case of being considerate and to use an old fashioned idea courteous towards. I will admit that childishly I will never forgive (and I almost always forgive) the extremely pc person who sent me a "joke" about Parkinsons versus Alzheimers shortly after my father died from a degenerative brain disease. The person meant no harm but it really upset me.

As for the paradox of CH looking so demure but having a potty mouth maybe it is a contrivance but I dread to think what type of bloke's attention it would attract
If it's a genuine inability to realise what is and isn't appropriate then I think that's a pity. I hope her two children, all grown up now didn't inherit the humour gene, imagine a triple whammy of poo comments :giggle:

Twitter is not all about self obsession, it's about special offers and discount codes. I use direct messages to keep in touch with 2 friends as it works better for us than messaging. Some blogs have been great for me as again they are like specialised product reviews or something like that, not personal in any way.

I don't know anyone far less follow anyone who fits the above profile PPC but I know they exist. Just as long as they stay far away from me I'll be a happy bat.

Joe McElderry and Gok Wan?!? How very sad. :puke:

Mr Ryes is giving us pooves a bad name!

Don't blooming believe this , Craig Rowe via his Facebook page has outed himself as a Joe McElderry fan as he likes the A-side of his single and for 30p more you can get both the A & B sides. Well he does bang on about The X Factor quite a lot. :puke:  :wonder:  :headbang:

Ms Huntley does seem to have a strange fixation on, well, guffs and poo.

I dread to think what sort of state her knickers were in if she felt compelled to mention that the Italian maid placed her knickers "gusset side up".

I can't imagine what she'd smell like under those hot studio lights... :mysmilie_460:
Catherine did elaborate that they were a dark colour, so they could have been hiding a multitude of sins.

And there she is on TV now looking like butter wouldn't melt... :dull:
I thought the same thing myself, so fake and contrived, acting like butter wouldnt melt, whilst talking about televisions with 'big bottoms', she must be looking for a new man.

Theres nothing sweet about Catherine.

I just BET Craig is too a fan of the famed homosexual Joe McElderry

Gives him something to listen to while he's lying on his NN bedding, fiddling with his Archos.

Or something

Not wishing to offend anyone who does use Twitter, but why anyone would want to tweet is beyond belief to me. Personally I haven't got the time to log everything I do or every thought I have online, for others to read.

Agree agree agree.
For a start Im not so self obsessed as to think that anyone would gives a rats arse what I do from one minute to the next, much less want to spend their precious time reading about it on t'interweb.
I thought I was the only person in the world not on Twatter or FaceSpaceBookPages but seems a few of you arent either.

She Just Can't Stop Herself

I know it all seems sweet and a giggle but honestly after all this, Catherine really just can't stop herself.

My DD and myself were watching the Portugese Water Dog Bella interactive puppy presentation.

She just couldn't help herself laughing and saying, " You can have all the pleasure without getting something else beginning with P "
If she's been so upset then why ?

I honestly think she's obsessed with number twos. :puke:

And I agree: why throw a strop if she's happy to "literally and actually" talk crap on air? :wonder:

Maybe as you say she's obsessed and just can't stop.
Since she's on a tweeter retreat it's now coming out live onto QVC.

Very strange its almost as if shes feigning sorrow to create a frenzy amongst her twitter followers, and get attention on this forum. Shes probably secretly loving all the attention, shes getting on this forum, and she has the nerve to tweet: 'Wonderful saying 'a clean conscience makes a soft pillow'. Goodnight and sleep well xxx', shes clearly has a high opinion of herself.

If your reading this Catherine, I'm sure most people had a better nights sleep than you.

Aw come on folks....give the girl a break!!!! How many presentations do you see on tv channels selling animal toys and they say something like that!!! All the fun of having a dog without the having to take it out for a walk, pick up its poo etc etc. Not meaning to disrespect anyone on here, who find toilet humour quite disgusting and unfunny...but that point's been made quite clearly. Sorry but I think it's getting all a bit nasty now!

I don't understand why there's such strong feeling about people who use Twitter or have blogs. If you don't want to read someone's tweets or their blog then don't, simple!

Lots of people would say that they woudn't waste their time posting on a messageboard like this in the same way people on here say they wouldn't waste their time tweeting or blogging. Nobody is forced to post/tweet/blog and nobody is forced to read any of these so I don't see what the problem is.

Erm, none?

Probably because most people know the difference between a toy and a real animal - it's not like baby dolls are sold as being "just like the real thing, but without all that nasty sex or the 20 hours gruelling labour first".

And I'm sorry you think it's getting nasty, but that's NOTHING compared to Ms Huntley's claim that she's being bullied by (presumably) this forum and the sniping about clean consciences.

The difference between a messageboard and Twitter is that on the messageboard you have the right to PUBLICLY reply; you can't on Twitter. So Ms Huntley has made some blatant and broad accusations without giving us the same right to respond that she would have on here.

So forgive me for "sounding nasty", but I feel that the bodily function-obsessed Chuntley has more to be sorry about than I do.

Knicker talk as well eh. Is there no end to this ladys ( & I say that loosely ) craving for attention.

I am no prude but just why does anyone leave their dirty draws laying around in a hotel bedroom.Has she never taken advantage of the free dirty laundry plastic bag supplied in most good hotels & chucked her dirty stuff in there & then into her suitcase :puke:

There is a name for people obsessed with normal bodily functions. Its called Hypochondria.

Is it? I thought that was people who worry that they are ill all the time.
