The material it's made of is so stiff it would stand up on the floor all by itself. And why three quarter sleeves on a coat? It looks massive on Melissa and on the waif-like models. Ridiculous garment.

About 25 years ago I bought this style from Marks. It was a lovely coat, beautiful quality (those were the days!) but there wasn’t a bliddy day suitable for wearing it! It eventually went to the charity shop having been worn twice for about an hour.

TBH remembering how Marla looks, and her shape, she just designs for herself ! big and baggy. - except some of her frocks that are indecently short.
