I am still waiting for my pinks. Is anyone else still waiting as I see some of you have got them.

I took delivery of some verbenas from Mont Rose today and they were in excellent condition

I’m still waiting for my pinks, I rang CS the other day and they said that they had been told by the supplier that they would be dispatched by the 15th May but mine still say “in process”. However I did receive my Lantana the other day and they still said “in process“ after I received them. CS did give me the option to cancel but I said that I would wait for them to be delivered

Love watching the gardening Shows with Michael Perry but don't rate QVC plants for quality of VFM and they need to tell the companies they deal with to get their packaging in order. they are not selling anything cheap so where's the money being spent.

I’ve got the gardening show on in the background and it was interesting to hear Michael say that IF the plants arrived a little dried out then you should stand them up in the container they came in and give them some water.

He didn’t tell people what to do if they arrived dead, as so many have. 😳

My pinks arrived a couple of weeks ago and look quite healthy, but there’s no sign of any flowers yet (despite the fact that the ones shown on the programme had buds etc.) Whether they ever get any flowers who knows, but at least they weren’t dead when I got them although they were in a bit of a mess in the cardboard box.

I am not paying huge sums forded plug plants when the garden centres are selling huge ready to go plants for far less ...albeit that qvc garden presenter/guests do sound tempting in thier descriptions I am not buying as I know they are overselling!

I saw a wee bit of a frosty response by Michael Perry on Twitter to a lady that had posted a question and then asked again as he hadn't answered. Something along the lines of his time is money so free advice comes down the pecking order. He went down a little in my estimation as they openly ask on QVC for questions.

My sister & I go to Chelsea every year & would have been there next Tuesday. We've seen him a couple of times & I thought he was extremely arrogant. David & Harry Rich & Chris Beardshaw have always got time for people. CB's garden at last year's show was beautiful, we both loved it & said that it was as though he'd designed it for us; we didn't know he was listening & he was really humble when he thanked us.

Micheal Perry seem to be growing on me, I wasn't keen at the begining... it could be lack of choice of things to watch .lol

Ahh love Chelsea used to go with my mum when she was alive we always had a great time and bought the Raymond Evison clematis on the sell off days.
Lovely, Raymond Evison grows stunning plants & always has the most gorgeous displays. It's my adult's version of Christmas morning. My sister's a gardener, went to horticultural college & was part of a team that won a gold medal in the days before it became really commercialised. Having said that it's still an event where we find little treasures amongst all the big & expensive stuff. We go up to town on Monday, do something that afternoon, stay overnight & get to the showground for when the gates open, we never stop talking or laughing & it's so lovely to see the same exhibitors every year. There's going to be a virtual show this year, I'm an RHS member so can see it from Monday; I won't bother because, along with all the other things that are a reminder of my life before these 8 weeks of house arrest, I've put it away in a box. Roll on next year.

Thats the spirit we can still enjoy our love of plants and flowers in our special outside places!

Still in total lockdown here, garden centres may open on Monday, no Aldi, no Morrisons, our Tesco and Sainsbury don’t do plants so no option but to use Q but never again.

I am glad I am not the only one not have received the pinks. I was going to ring CS but wont bother now that you have an update. I must admit I am beginning to wonder whether I want them or not. I just hope when they arrive that they are in a decent condition.

I see on Arsebook that Liamx is asking people with complaints regarding dead plants to email Q.

Obviously someone in IT has got off their ass to enable someone to read emails again, whether they actually do anything is another matter.

At least the pinks will recover and you can take slips to increase your stock but those getting single stem annuals have totally lost their plant and money.

Still waiting on dahlias from De Jeager dispatched on 30th april i fear they are lying in some mail warehouse lost forever phoned QVC who are sending me a form to sign and send back when i will get refund goodness knows

just in case we have anather Pandemic I will be buying my seeds for bedding next year Wilkos are fresher than any other supplier I know they have a wide choice and superb germination

A few weeks ago I sowed very very very old (over 10 years!!!!,) seeds I found and one lot have just appeared but nothing in the other. I feel quite pleased even if they dont come to much.

its a bit of a faff falling over home made seed trays in the conservatory and putting them in and out but I don’t have a greenhouse .

i received the plant of the month osteospermum purple sun but there is none or very little purple on them, in fact they are mostly dull yellow. Hoping this improves as they establish otherwise they could be just any old daisy.

To be honest the osteospermum colour does not appeal to me but each to their own hope they colour up as you expect
