I see Micael seems to have bagged himself a nice new upcoming TSV exercise thingy machine
I know he was really ill with his heart issues, & lost his brother to the same condition, but his blog was like a page from the diary of a hypochondriac. Maybe the next one will be about healthy eating with the focus on roughage & he'll discuss :poop:

All the presenters talk 💩, it's their only talent so they exploit it at every opportunity.

Haha!

I've said the same but when Ruth is on qvc she really does a better job of talking about the overpriced products than the actual presenter and explains in great detail why you have to pay through the nose for her boring range and really there's no need for the other presenter to be there
Totally agree, all Jackie K seems to do is tell everyone that she's a 5ft 10in size 12 and read out random Tweets from customers like Sue The Greenkeeper!?

Qvc needs to get rid of and clear out all the cross. I particularly dislike glen Campbell " brand expert" Wittering on about what we should wear it with - as if all the viewers are clueless 12yr olds. As someone else said we want sizings explained and materials. When he's on i switch off.
I'd miss his blazer/too short jeans/socks and loafers combo.

Just watching Tova on the 5 o’clock hour. She looks like a Thunderbirds puppet! Debbie is also looking a bit more stretched and plumped, although her little alterations over the years are done well, and don’t alter her face too much .
Debbie Flett has managed to outlast so many other models. Are her and Tiffany now the longest serving models?

Apart obviously from those who have died, talking about models, I do miss some of the
usuals, and older models, largely because I could relate better to them. For some reason the very young models don’t gel with me the same. I liked Tanya and Sharon, both graceful, and I like Sally and Maxine who are great to watch. So many changes.

I wonder whether QVC in hard times are letting specialist salespeople who don't cover as many products as others, go first? It otherwise seems odd that Alison Young, who's been with them since forever and sold a lot of products for them may, like Claire, Debbie & co, have simply disappeared, wiped out, never to be spoken of again. I hope not - she was one of the most down-to-earth and I liked Will, too.
I read that AY is self isolating but will be on Skype at the weekend.

Funny, she does have a peculiar style does Tova. Suppose it's her 'Celebrity' lifestyle! ;)

I shudder to think what life is like "on the inside" in Hollywood. Women's bodies and faces are policed to an extreme. A 40 year old woman is too old to be 78 year old Harrison Ford's wife on screen, for example.. and that would be a facelifted, filtered, botoxed 40 year old woman who is frequently at the gym and constantly on a diet. Women there seem to be under ceaseless demands to look young and fresh (ageing forbidden), and confirm to the size zero cult. It takes a very strong character and mind to resist, knowing it will likely signal the end of your career.

Yes ! & Talking of voices i saw a bit of Ruth langsford today - so funny she's suddenly speaking in exaggerated clipped pronounciation - sounding like a public information film from the 1940s - it did make me laugh she didn't used to speak like that.

We call that the "Cocoa, Sir?" voice, as spoken by a WAAF in a war film.
