New Presenter?

shes between jobs now she said on a post on her fbook page, that her graphics design job didnt take off what a shame!....so fingers crossed one is Emma!

Thanks Graham, well that rather takes the surprise away for Steve. I'm not exactly delighted she's one of the new presenters. I don't dislike her, but I have absolutely no feelings for her one way or the other, which is nearly as bad I suppose. I found her rather insipid, still I shall be open-minded and will be open to being won over by her once she starts tomorrow.
Steve also said the other presenter starting next week was ex Rocks&Co, so could be Ruth or Caroline or ......?

Is there really any need for new presenters when Steve barely lets his current team get on air in front of him?!

The other point is what is the point in other presenters, as I would advise people to hold off buying a piece unless Steve auctions it - as he usually undermines previous prices and goes lower.

I think Steve needs a bit of cover for when he's in India, as he will be for the best part of next month i believe.

Aw thats a shame Emma's Graphics business didn't take off, It would be great if Steve could bring her back, love her calm and natural presenting style!

Have to agree Tabs, a real shame things didn't work out for her, but she was an absolute 'natural' on Rocks, and it would be lovely to see her again.

I agree with you Jacqualina, I thought she was very boring on Gems TV and couldn't watch her at all.

As for Ruth & Caroline, it's neither of them unless things have changed .....:mysmilie_11:

I have honestly never seen her, so don't know what to expect! I am sure she will be great!

She'll have to change quite a bit to be great, but as I said above, I'll be open-minded about her, just not very enthusiastic at the moment.
If the other one isn't Ruth or Caroline, who else has recently left Rocks&Co? Could it be Kay, I really hope not!

I liked Rae when she joined Gems, professional and confident, until she became pushy and shouty for a while (no doubt as directed) and then she was disappeared along with Liz. I'm not sure why some people are saying Rod's come out of his shell since joining Rocks because he was exactly the same at Gems TV! As for the "KGG", I'll always give someone a second chance (well nearly always) so we'll just wait and see. Time will tell as they say.
