New Presenter?

I'm not sure why some people are saying Rod's come out of his shell since joining Rocks because he was exactly the same at Gems TV! As for the "KGG", I'll always give someone a second chance (well nearly always) so we'll just wait and see. Time will tell as they say.

I suspect maybe those peeps hadn't seen Rod before all the pushy, shouty stuff started. I did think he seemed a bit low during his latter months and think he may have been unhappy, so perhaps this was all they had seen. xxxxx

May be the new presenter could be Vicki C from the dark side? I havent seen her for sometime now! or failing that Liz from the dark side too - she has been AWOL - since before October 2009 - no one on the dark side even mentions her name!

Talking about old dark side presenters, yes I liked Emma, and Craig Rook, but equally i liked Ali - xx

:mysmilie_348: I dont know about that one! lol - but I do happen to like the presenter, Jamie - his sense of humour is great - he has me in fits of laughter, specially when he is teasing the floor crew! lol - and he does wear some really nice shirts, but i do wish, he wouldnt wear the sleeves rolled up to his elbows - it makes me feel cold :mysmilie_61: specially at this time of the year - dont know why he doesnt get himself down to his nearest shopping mall, and get some of those nice jumper/shirt ensembles that they are in fashion for blokes at the moment,( my son has some really nice ones - and he pushes the sleeve up to his elbow, still looking very smart, yet casual! :mysmilie_61 But other than that, Jamie is immaculate - clean shaven, clean faced, and always has his hair brushed, and always cheerful and happy - Love him to pieces, I think he is my favourite of ALL jewellery presenters -perhaps some presenters, particularly one, from the Dark Side (who didnt get to be in Rock and Chips lol) should take note on how a proper presenter does it - presenting with style and flair like Jamie! :mysmilie_11: :mysmilie_17:

Yes Phill, apparently! Wouldn't know myself, never watched any other channels but that's where she's from!
Seems nice enough & very competent, obviously a very experienced presenter, certainly knows what she's doing!

Yes it was Rae, and she seems to be doing a better job of things, than she did on the dak side, hope it continues.

Well I happen to think that Rocks TV have very good presenters! Rod, Matt, Alan, Jamie and Barry are all entertaining, eloquent and watchable. I am very critical of presenters and can't stand the "oh wow" and stupid looks of amazement together with the constant "High Street" comparisons that we are subjected to on other channels. Funnily it's always female presenters who do it so maybe the answer is to only employ male presenters!

I would like to add that I stated in a previous post that I wasn't keen on Rae when she was at Gems TV however having watched her this morning, she was much better and I enjoyed her presenting. Obviously Gems TV want the hard sell method of presenting when all it does is make people turn off!
