Just thought I'd take a moment to wax lyrical about my all-time favourite gemstone, since it's been back on air recently (and some lovely sparklies arrived at my door today).

Rocks & Co's faceted rainbow moonstone is completely unlike anything you have ever seen anywhere else (except occasionally on Gems TV in the past) - 100% eye clean with NO inclusions, and an etherial bright blue schiller. It's also natural and untreated, although it's amazing that nature could produce such a thing.

I e-mailed Steve Bennett about this gemstone and he said he has recently bought a parcel, so it should be appearing on Gems TV soon, too. Fingers crossed that theirs will be up to the same standard.

'Stu-pen-dous', as Craig Revel Horwood would say!

I'm an earring person, so...

Also a bracelet which is very pretty, but I'm not 100% I'll keep it as I have other rainbow moonstone bracelets and, unlike earrings, I don't wear bracelets every day:

Lovely pieces MissM, thank you for posting - just like "the old days" when we used to drool over fellow forumites' purchases.
I too love rainbow moonstone, but it's so unusual to see it set in yellow gold (my metal of preference), so well done Rocks - only problem is that I'm away and have missed it all. Hopefully there will still be some left by the time I get back.

Actually I think rainbow moonstone on the whole looks better in white gold, because of the 'iciness' of it, but I just liked those particular designs. Jacqualina, you could contact the personal shopper and see what they have. (Unlike some other shopping channels, Rocks & Co will sell items off air at the on-air price.)

Update: They have lots on the Rocks & Co website. (Worth 'phoning if you see something you like, though, since you'll probably be able to get it for the on-air price if that is cheaper.)
