Order dispatch e-mail received long after delivery of item!

I've just received an e-mail to say my order has been dispatched and to 'make room for it, it's on its way.'

Only trouble is, I received it 8 days ago! Someone in admin isn't doing their job properly :-O

I have had this happen many times, another example of how bad their IT is.

Well at least you got the item even if the despatch email was rather late.
I've had two companies send an email saying item despatched when they were waiting for the goods to be delivered the following week - then when said goods didn't arrive, they sent an email offering a refund :mysmilie_10: and couldn't understand my annoyance at having waited for a week expecting a delivery when they hadn't even sent it - perhaps they don't know what despatched actually means.

I would say I get more late ones than those before the order arrives !!
