Still watching CCCP shows and Mike Mason, saying how he really likes the "Spasskaya", he likes watches that are different, he's so excited by it he's wanting to get one for his varied collection which he loves wearing. Which is strange, cause for someone who enjoys wearing all his watches, the only watch I've ever seen him wearing is his Seamaster. Oh and once he said he would be getting it at the end of the show, he came out with the folks are buying it, cause he wants it and he won't get it.:ROFLMAO:
Shaun last week....'D'you know, I really like this one Kevin, yer, I think I'd like to add it to my growing collection, yer, oh but I've forgotten my tablet Kevin. It doesn't look like I'm gonna get one....'

There's a familiar pattern forming. Funny how they're all of a sudden collecting now 🙄

Words and talk are cheap especially for some lW presenters.

I like Mathey-Tissot but that Storm watch is ugly.

I have one of the Renaissance watches, but it didn't cost me £499, got it for £350 including duty from Jomashop, plus it has the Sellita SW200.

It does seem really important to the IW folk that other people notice your watch and are impressed with it, personally don't care what folks notice or don't notice my watch, or what they think of my watch, I buy the watch for me to wear and look at not to have folks staring at my wrist. :ROFLMAO:

I had a Rolly Vintage which was a good piece, but couldn't get away with the word "Vintage" across the face

I’ve got one Mathew Tissot Rolly and I really like it. One of the better brands on IW in my view.

We should start the Rolly owner's club. (y)

I've a Blue and a Black one, again great prices from Jomashop, I quite like the "Vintage" on the dial.
The one they have on the web site for tonight's show is slightly different to my two, IW one is 42mm with a IT 20 movement, mine are 40mm with Sellita SW200, although on Mathey-Tissot site they are now coming with STP1-11, must get them cheaper than the Sellita.

It’s a rare thing - I’ve not felt the urge to throw something at the TV yet 🙂

Mathey Tissot actually got me into Steinhart, for the obvious "Homage" connection, although I think Steinhart offer better quality for the price:cool:

I like both brands, although for me anyway, they don't really compete with each other, both are aimed at different parts of the market although they do cross slightly at certain points, Mathey-Tissot is mainly dress style watches, a few Aviation type Chronos and the Rolly which to me, at 100mtr is more a Diver style watch rather than an actually Diver's watch, they range from inexpensive quartz right up to Peter Simon's £10,000 gold masterpiece. :ROFLMAO: Where as Steinhart have more specialised watch range, which makes their starting price point higher, mainly Diver's and Pilot watches. I also think Steinhart put more effort into decorating the movements than Mathey-Tissot do.

Far too boring and factual. Wonder if the riot act's been read:unsure:

Have notice some of the other presents, outwith Shaun, Peter and Mike, when doing the watch shows they seem to act differently to their normal onscreen behaviour. Maybe they think because they don't normally get to do watch shows, watch show must be special, so they better act sensibly.

Speaking of boring, it's the Silk guy, he's an instant cure for insomnia. :ROFLMAO:

The Mulberry silk man is the most smug , pompous self regarding bore I have ever come across
Teaming him with Dennice is a stroke of genius , as her ponderous , patronising and imperious style engages with his, so that we get the impression of two dinosaurs jousting in some prehistoric marsh.
