Hey

A question for you ...

Sarah-lou kept saying earlier that Russian Diopside was also known as Siberian Emerald

I just checked out Gems TV - they sell Siberian Emeralds ... does that mean they are selling Russian Diopside? They didnt have any on the web, they did have chrome diopside (which looked to me like the Russian Diopside they sell on TJC)

The siberian emeralds gems had were no where near as green ...

(I know, have too much time on my hands, need to stop thinking and go out more ....)

Chrome/Russian Diopside isn't "related" to Siberian Emerald at all but it's sometimes nicknamed Siberian Emerald. It can also be known as Russian Emerald. Siberian Emeralds on gems are as they say, Emeralds, where Diopside on TJC is just that. :)
Hope that helps :)

And it's a very confusing thing to say! Siberian Emeralds are some of the best in the world and are actually Emeralds (rivalling Colombians). Russian Diopside is a million miles away from Emerald (apart from the fact they're both green)!
