I love tarte, but I'm on the fence - a) I don't like the Rots foundation, so I won't be using that at all, b) we don't know what colour the lipstick is & in the past it's been a really dark colour that I can't wear and just ends up sitting in my make up box and c) I have that mascara coming out of my ears now & I don't wear eyelash primer. So that means if we call it a five piece collection (forgetting about the bag and brush) then I'll only use two products, but these two products I do really want (the tightliner & palette).

I'm sure you'll get them on ebay about a week after the TSV

Interesting. What don't you like about the foundation? I haven't tried that one.

I wear the light-medium shade in the 12 hour foundation, so I bought the light-medium in the RotS foundation also. However, the colours were totally different on my skin to each other. The RotS foundation was very orange in colour and did not look good. It was also very watery and lacked in coverage (even when I applied layer after layer). I didn't like the application tool (the dropper) either - it's too messy & fiddly. If I'd have gone darker to the medium I really think that would be too dark and lighter to the light might be fine in the winter but not in the spring/summer when I bought it.

I'm new to Tarte bought the last TSV and quite like it however, I'm not sure about the shades! I have light sand and it's too yellow at first I thought it's ok but my sister has twice commented that my skin looks to pale. In fact she asked I was feeling ok last time I wore it. Anyone out there know if there is a light shade which is warmer. I'd like the next TSV but the colour choices make me wonder.

I know what you mean, I got the Fair Sand, which also has yellow undertones, and I think it washes me out a bit. A fair shade with pink undertones would be better for me. Tarte do a much wider selection of shades, but unfortunately QVC don't stock them. I've been warming it up with a bit of bronzer / blusher and hoping it will look better in the Winter!

I bought the last tsv in Fair and it just made me look ill, so back it went. I find it makes the skin dull as opposed to a healthy look. It was also my first purchase of Tarte but I'm going to refrain for no

The link I posted in my original post was to Tarte's website, to show all the shades they offer in that foundation, but an eBay link has appeared in it's place. I didn't even look on eBay! Bizarre. Hope this will display the correct link:

Does nothing for me either. Another over hyped American brand I think. As for the eyeshadow palettes, I'm sure it's the same colours in every one. Browns, pinks and beiges.

Being a saddo, I've been looking at who is due to lauch various TSVs... and this one is due to be Debbie Flint. So I'm looking forward to an exhaustive list of who to buy this for as presents, and to exhortations to buy more than one :mysmilie_48:

I want to buy this as I've decided to do a really nice Beauty Box for my granddaughter as part of her Christmas. Just want to keep the foundation for me if I can ever decide on a colour/shade. The light sand made me I'll so I'll try another.
