Having had a very lucky day on the falling auctions a little while back, I have been awaiting its dispatch since 6th Feb. On tracking, it showed "payment taken" for several days and now it shows "cancelled". They have had the benefit of something like £70 of my money and cancelled my order, and no-one has had the decency to let me know.

As I say, it was a lucky day, and quite a long list of goodies including (I think, I don't want to wind myself up by looking at what's gone) about three shambalas at just 3-4 quid each. I expect my day was too lucky and the list too long - what d'ya reckon? I e-mailed Rupinder at 10.30 this morning but have as yet received no response nor has anyone else called to let me know that the order is cancelled and why, and I have been refunded. I keep getting e-mails from them, but these are simply reminders to purchase my last lot of wins - yeah right, I'm going to give them more money to cancel the order and not refund!

What has happened to this channel? My last couple of orders had pieces held back due to that old chestnut "quality control", but I don't see how they're going to claim that without destroying what reputation they have for about 10-12 items. I don't mind (though I know a lot of you don't like it) that TJC have been selling cheap and cheerful, but bits and bobs make nice little "happy unbirthday" gifties for grandchildren and carers. xxxxxx

£70's worth - now that's what I call a lucky haul! Shambala's are really heavy so perhaps all together it outweighed the £4.95 max P&P by more than they could bear!!

Not good enough they haven't explained. :wonder:

Hopefully someone from the channel will read this thread, find out what went wrong and explain and apologise to you (note it needs to be both IMHO)

I won't hold me breff. If they can't read me e-mail I doubt they'll bother with us. I am however holding on until tomorrow as it could just be that Rupinder isn't there (not that there's any excuse at all for no-one contacting me in the first place nor any sign of a refund). I'll send a copy to CS and management and failing any joy there, I suppose it's Fair Trading, et al. I 'ate snitchin' though. xxxxx <a href="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fwww.smileycentral.com%252F%253Fpartner%253DZSzeb008%255FZNxpt484YYGB%2526i%253D10%252F10%255F1%255F112%2526feat%253Dprof/page.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/10/10_1_112.gif" alt="SmileyCentral.com" border="0"><img border="0" src="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fimgfarm%252Ecom%252Fimages%252Fnocache%252Ftr%252Ffw%252Fsmiley%252Fsocial%252Egif%253Fi%253D10%252F10_1_112%2526uiv%253D3.0/image.gif"></a>

Love your avatar note PJ, but over my dead body - literally. I wonder if they've ever had a real <a href="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fwww.smileycentral.com%252F%253Fpartner%253DZSzeb008%255FZNxpt484YYGB%2526i%253D8%252F8%255F1%255F220%2526feat%253Dprof/page.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/8/8_1_220.gif" alt="SmileyCentral.com" border="0"><img border="0" src="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fimgfarm%252Ecom%252Fimages%252Fnocache%252Ftr%252Ffw%252Fsmiley%252Fsocial%252Egif%253Fi%253D8%252F8_1_220%2526uiv%253D3.0/image.gif"></a> in da 'ouse.

I actually just quickly popped in to say that I've had a nice chat with Rupinder and we'll be speaking again tomorrow when she will have tried to collate the order as best possible. xxxxxxxxxxx

Excellent, look forward to hearing the conclusion. Glad you like the note, I thought you might either like it or wanna hit me :p

Rupinder is wonderful and has helped me a few times when things went very wrong. For example tjc selling me two identical rings which I paid for but it turned out that only one was ever made. I wanted both rings for my civil partnership and I was very disappointed to say the least. Rupinder gave us a very good deal on the one ring and we accepted her apology on behalf of the company. Rupinder will get you sorted.

Hope its all sorted soon Argey. I agree Rupinder is lovely and has always sorted things out for me too.

I have also won a few items from the auctions, hopefully they will all arrive!

Oh no, not good. So, if your won on the 6th Feb (and they process the money against your card on the day) they've had your money for 8 days up to yesterday - that's unacceptable if the goods haven't been shipped. I have to say that their practice of taking the money with the order really stinks because if they then cancel, you've lost out.

I do hope you get it sorted Arge.

Rupinder if you read this forum, not only should Arge get whats she's paid for but she should also be sent some form of compensation. It takes alot for Arge to complain so please, do right by her.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments, and Rupinder has indeed "sorted me out".

The refund has already been processed so we have started a new one. Not all the items are available - it seems things can slip down the back of the sofa  and, of course, the computer is not noted. This actually makes much more sense than the old "quality control issues", and I will in future keep more of an open mind when I hear this phrase. However, customers do need alerting immediately when there are order difficulties and Rupinder tells me that, along with a number of other issues, this is being worked on.

Rupinder has personally collated a new order for me made up of a sturdy silver bracelet £5 (I cannot now recall its weight but it is healthy and clearly not a fine chain), a glittery watch £6, and 4 assorted shambalas - pink, red, multi and a rather posh graduated colour black/grey white all at £4 each. I see now that I had in fact bid £9 for two of them and the fourth is an extra to make up for what is not available. She would have run though some more alternatives with me but I'm happy to just start again as I now (safely) have my favourites on the way at special prices and with no p&p (all together a grand sum of £27 the lot). I haven't attached a piccie of the pink shambala as the post will only take a total of five, so here are the rest of me goodies. All in all a happy bunny again thanks to Rupinder. Note to self: Don't get wound up, just send an e-mail. xxxxxxxxxx

Hi Argey, thanks for updating us, good to hear you've been well sorted! And well done to Rupinder for doing the 'sorting'. Hope your new order arrives promptly and in good order so that your pressie drawer is nicely topped up. Sounds like you've had a good deal with the prices, might you be tempted to reserve summat for yourself? You deserve it after all the hassle you've had.

Great haul Argey. Two of my orders have been dispatched so looks like I will be getting my bargains too

Possibly the silver bracelet. The shambalas would be "mutton" (I may have a go at making one or two of a frightfully reefained variety myself from my beady stash, if I can get to grips with the macrame). The grandchildren will luv 'em, especially as they are "no chores necessary pressies". We have child labour over here as well don'tcha know! I thought the watch might do me daughter but I now realise it's far too much for her. One of my carers (a proper doll in all respects) has a definite Bet Lynch style, so she can have it just for being. It's fabulous watching as she toddles about all i-pod, blond ponytail, leggings and short tops, finished off by gladiator sandals with 3ft heels. <a href="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fwww.smileycentral.com%252F%253Fpartner%253DZSzeb008%255FZNxpt484YYGB%2526i%253D1%252F1%255F4%255F83%2526feat%253Dprof/page.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/1/1_4_83.gif" alt="SmileyCentral.com" border="0"><img border="0" src="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fimgfarm%252Ecom%252Fimages%252Fnocache%252Ftr%252Ffw%252Fsmiley%252Fsocial%252Egif%253Fi%253D1%252F1_4_83%2526uiv%253D3.0/image.gif"></a> xxxxxxxx

PS Possibly the black/grey/white shambala might fall onto my wrist.
