Primal Products

They are really giving slim shots and those collagen shakes the hard sell just lately, they seem to be on most days. I'm not interested in the shakes but I have tried the slim shots in all flavours and I can't say I feel any different after having one. I think the cherry one is ok, but none of them are offensive, I'm just not convinced they do anything. Has anyone else tried them?

Had an e-mail from Primal Living, earlier this week, advising that they will now be part of the Gemporia family from now on - god knows what chaos will ensue …

I do enjoy watching Steve and his Primal shows and I like his passion for all things low carb. I really don't fancy the konjac pasta though, looks like a sachet of tapeworms!

We tried some years ago when they were chucking packets of close-to-use-by-date stuff out for peanuts.

They're on another planet when they say you'll notice no difference between that and 'normal' pasta.

It is VERY tough and rubbery, and it also has a weird texture. After trying a packet each, we cooked the rest and chucked it out for the pigeons and foxes to each.

Even they left them.

That 'no carb pasta' is really unpleasant. Not just their version but that whole type of product. The experience of eating it is nothing like the pasta it is in replacement of.
I was amused by last nights presentation with the usual hero worship that Adina extends to Steve and his incredible knowledge and experience. Interesting to me is that when Primal products are on screen at Gemporia you will find them 'Not available ' on the Primal site. This could be to control stock counts but it also means that you can't check the Primal price.
Steve did make the point that he didn't understand any producer who sells probiotics loose. Theirs are in blister packs to preserve the bacteria. Fine except his knowledge must have developed as there was a time that the Primal product was in a regular bottle. If he has seen research which he has learnt from that is great. I wish that he would have acknowledged the past and claimed to have developed and improved. But I suppose as the founder he sets the standard.

I can't bear the Steve shows. Everyone fawns over him like he is some kind of deity.

I was on the (deranged) Facebook group for a while and there were elderly ladies putting topless photos of him on there and practically salivating and saying phwoar...

Was gross. I am scarred for life

Fun fact: they don't sell Primal Living products to foreigners!

This video is by an active NHS doctor. It's about supplements, who they might benefit, the shystering by supplement manufacturers and labelling. He actually uses the word "bs" too.

Talking of Primal. Youbamboo. Love them for comfort (socks etc) but by god they have poor staying power. They wear out too quickly.

I caught the end of a Primal show this morning with Steve doing a very hard sell on Slimshotz with a new presenter who I haven't seen before (is this Josie) she took several fake sips and said it was like lemon drizzle cake (its really not!) At the end of the show, she lifted the glass but had to apologise and say she couldn't drink the last one as it had turned into slime - it was like watching Ross about to drink the fat on Friends

Yeah that was Josie. The reason why she couldn't drink the last drop is because she can't keep her mouth closed for long enough.

omg, Steve has got Gemma Collins doing his latest version of the Health Reset. I was wondering who his secret 'A List Celebrity' was when he was launching the new fibre first reset (where you get a massive box of those sachets of tape worms) I just saw her on Steve's Instagram stories going on about how big her trousers have got.

A list? Z list is more realistic.

As for using her as an endorsement for the 'Health Reset' - well, that's like using Harold Shipman as an endorsement for the NHS.

On the positive side, I have a little admiration for her. She's made something for herself out of nothing. On the snarky side, as far as Primal Living is concerned (or whatever his current site is - I think that I heard Steve say, when presenting the Michael Myers mask with Ellis recently, that PL is Gemporia's and he now has his own, separate venture), they are well suited to each other. They both probably think that they're using the other as pure opportunity.

Yeah, Primal is now part of Gemporia. I think that happened about 3 years ago.

Steve does seem to get 'bored' quickly before he moves onto something else. I suspect that he realised that he was never going to compete with Tej Lalvani's 'Vitabiotics' company - so he moved onto yet another business venture.

I'm sure he's said on-air that he has a couple of 'clinics' now - one in the centre of Birmingham and the other in Redditch.

I wonder how long it'll be before the novelty of that wears off, he merges that into Gemporia and he moves onto something else again.

I can just imagine Ellis Ward offering a free diabetes test with every Tanzanite ring purchased in a couple of years time - or Dave Troth offering a free hemorrhoid check with every Jadeite ring purchase. Buy one ring, get your other ring checked out for free.
