    Food poisoning time

Watching the kitchen presentation with Simon-the-boy-in-blue demo'ing pans, etc. Is it just me or does anyone else think it's pretty disgusting that the presenter advocates "washing up " the pans by just wiping out with a piece of kitchen roll? What about flavour transference and the...

She's doing it again - Suzie on Northern Nights.

Ooh yes, can I be a member of the Dunelm Mill fan club please?

    On trend Autumn clothes anyone???

    Well, I didn't really like to say....:wink3:

    TSV'S Why The Limited Choice?

Oh yes, I agree. Recently they repeated the same 3 product ranges over and over from midnight to the following midnight with nothing else to leaven the mix. Even the presenters were beginning to look fed up.

    On trend Autumn clothes anyone???

I long to say how wonderful I think her designs are - just to wind you all up further - but I have to say that for once I agree with everything you all say!

Emu boots returns ... super speedy!

OOO, I l-u-r-v-e my Stingers. I have two pairs and live in them. BUT I take a 6.5 or sometimes even a 7 in a "smart" shoe but 5 in Emus so buyer beware! I find that the price of Emus compares favourably with Uggs and Celtic sheepskin boots.

    TSV'S Why The Limited Choice?

The problem, of course, is that one person's boring item is another's must-have treasure.

She's doing it again - Suzie on Northern Nights.

As a teenager I can remember thinking my mother was very old-fashioned using flannelette sheets rather than modern, up-to-date nylon....until I went into digs on teaching practice where I had to sleep in the damned things - bl**dy freezing in the cold South Walian winter when the snow outside...

Oh dear, what have the Japanese done to upset you?

    Men's Clothing Range??????

In fact some companies are doing machine washable cashmere - and not just the most expensive ones either. Cashmere IS very light and as a natural fibre will keep you warm or cool depending on the prevailing climate. I'm with you on Charlie Thingummy - I don't like being lectured on beauty and...

    Yet another one...

....jumps ship. Just seen the Casual & Co girl, Genevieve, presenting "La Dea" on IW.

Less and less of interest to men on QVC

Perhaps their research has shown that more women watch and buy from QVC than men and that the products they buy are female-oriented.

You are entitled to like whatever appeals to you and also entitled to ask a question without having all the snidey comments thrown at you. Your taste in clothes or anything else is your business not anyone else's.

    Review in The Sun newspaper

Have you tried Hotter? I once said I'd never be old enough to wear Hotter shoes and I'd cut off my feet first but they really have upped their act over the last couple of seasons - lots of colours, styles for everything from serious walking to smart enough for work and dressed up and even some...

    Presenters

"I'm not at all keen on Ellis and Denise ~ I think they'd sell their souls for a sale" Umm, surely sales are what they are there for.

    Shapewear, erm...

I'm a La Dea user and also another (non-IW) make and think they are great. However, the "comfort system" is not easy to manage. It's a overlapping flap between two pieces of fabric. Without going into TMI it isn't very convenient or easy to use. You need at least three hands. Two to deal with...

    Lid on halogen oven tip

Haven't had this problem with mine so far but will keep your hint in reserve for the future. Thank you.

    Lovely tops worn by presenter

Why do you have to be so nasty? Apart from anything else, if you knew the first thing about current fashion trends you'd know that 60s and 70s is quite "in" for both clothing and home furnishings.

    Presenters

OK, let's see. Loen is a real turn off with the hysterical shouting. She isn't always properly prepared on the product she is selling and sometimes hasn't learned her lines. Does she drink? Nigel is often very inappropriate in his personal asides - it's clear he "bats for the other team" but...

    Kenwood POTD

Been looking at the Kenwood PotD today and comparing prices on t'internet. Given the additional attachments included and the flexi-pay, it seems a good deal. Not thinking of investing for myself as I have my mother's 35 years old one which looks like seeing me out. I'm buying one for my neice's...
