Is anyone else drooling over these cakes? They are quite expensive like all the food on QVC but boy do they look good. Yes I can cook, my carrot cake has been admired by many people, but these look gorgeous!
 
My mum has ordered them in the past and they are very scrummie and well worth the money, they are massive and last for ages............................if you can wait that is.
 
If you add the p&p £5 each for a small Cake is a disgrace. I dont care how good they are £20 for 4 cakes is beyond belief.

I heard Paul (IW chef) say last night (on his halogen show) that he had been watching 'another shopping channel' earlier and they were selling 4 cakes for £20. He said why spend that when you can make your own - yer right if I could make cakes like that I would be in business for myself (so he watches QVC whilst woking at IW)

Bwahaha Mrs James - when Christmas is over, I think I will be regretting not buying the double slanket!

Loved the look of the cakes last night and it reminded me, I am sure there was a lady who had a range of cakes early on in the year. I am positive there was a pink squidgy looking cake and was looking forward to reading the reviews of her stuff. However I can't find any details on QVC's site and I haven't seen her back on the screen since. Does this ring a bell with anyone else or did I just dream about that pink cake? :mysmilie_374:

It was Lotte Duncan - she came back briefly with a kitchen show but hasn't been back on air since that I can remember...:)

I never saw the show & wouldn't recognise Glyn Christian if I ran him over with my Morrison's trolley.........who is he anyway?
