It all comes down to the source of the information. Some take the view that sold in China = tested on animals... so that might be how that answer comes up.Does Gatineau test on animals? I think Andrew said once before that they didn't, but if you Google it, it says they do

They are owned by Revlon, so the answer will be yes.

Although I found this: Revlon does not conduct animal testing and has not done so for decades. We comprehensively test all of our products using the most technologically advanced methods available to ensure they are both innovative and safe to use.
Talk about confusing.

So if sold in China, they will have their products tested. That is the get out clause used by many brands, including L'Occitane. We have comply with the rules of countries we sell in.
The only Elemis product I ever liked was their Pro Radiance Cleanser in the limited edition scent. It was a Christmas or birthday present 3 or 4 years ago and I really rated it actually despite my not very nice opinion of Keeley but now that they sell in China, I’ve never repurchased it and I never will.
