There's no confusion. Gemporia presenters' tactic is to get as many viewers as possible wound up tight emotionally to buy quickly without having the mental space to pause and do an online search.

I do wonder just how many people cancel their orders after they've calmed down then looked online, or what the return rate is.

Gemporia presenters and "gemstone investors and broadcasters" (urgh ) may talk about educating viewers, but that's the last thing they want to do if they want to sell their stock.
