Mikey's Ingersoll misinformation!

Well that's not self wind, that's manual wind. Self winding is another name for automatic. And you did say "sel wind" which confused!

I apologise, what I meant by 'self wind' was actually
'manual wind', I am not a watch expert. To be clear,
some Ingersoll Automatic watches also have a manual
wind function. I am basically saying that it was not a manual
wind watch mis-sold as an automatic. This would be a
rather large and obvious mistake to make and would have
been picked up on by either presenter and/or producer.
I guess you'll have to wait and see what the ASA have to say.

Well the watch in fact was a manual wind watch being sold as an automatic, that was my point! The watch houses a Chinese Sea-Gull ST19 manual wind movement. The watch in question is an Ingersoll Wells Fargo and is now on bid's web site stating that it is manual wind.

They often sell watches as automatic, which are anything but! I even saw Mark Ryes sell a Moscow Time brand quartz watch as an automatic one night. I bet that was about a russian as chicken chow mein too!
