Well, looking on Ted Baker's website there are different styles of frocks, and he does a 'skater' range, so clearly that's what she wore. Although currently on offer there is nothing like the beautiful stiff and floral fabrics that Julie chose to wear. Perhaps she had them specially made.

It’s a style which if you have the shape and lifestyle look fab but they are hard to make look good if you are old and dumpy.

I liked Julie and her lovely dresses and she could carry off their short length as she had long slim legs. The fake flowers were a bit hit and miss though.

More miss than hit for me to be honest, but I never took a chance on a really expensive arrangement which might have been better quality.

The larger bouquets - some were enormous - were only suitable for hotels imo, or rooms big enough to see them from a distance.

I agree. Many of the fabrics had intricate flowers and vines woven into them. Custom made imo. Although I didn't like her 'Lady of the Manor' persona, I could never fault her dresses.
