That Egyptian cotton story about 60 year old towels. I would never call someone a liar but come on!

Another thing that ridiculous vacuum cleaner isn't selling brilliantly. Some of the stories used are fairly ridiculous. How normal vacuum cleaners throw out microscopic dust whereas the whiskers doesn't. Two words ..... Hepa Filtration. Vacuum cleaners hate shagpile carpets...what!!!! They can't see the hair or oats on the floor...I can! The whiskers brushes seem to throw all the larger particles around....it must be throwing loads of microscopic particles around. Save yourself some money. Buy a proper cleaner and not a gimmick. The gullibility of some of the viewers is being exploited so mercilessly.

Of course you're quite right Joe but the good news is that their games are simply not working as much as they used to, that is patently clear.

Take Mike Mason with his Star Trek phone. I think they were expecting it to fly out within minutes but it didn't, in fact they spent a full 30 minutes on it and yet they still didn't shift anywhere near all 105 by the close of sale.

It was glaringly obvious Mason was rattled, he was repeating himself over and over and at times was rambling. I almost felt sorry for him.

Almost.

(Note to Mason, you CAN'T use any SIM card in it. If you're a '3' customer and try using your Sim in a 2G phone they'll permanently cut you off).

But how could any man not want that wonderful watch / phone? Its so good he even has one himself. That is good enough recommendation for me (if I were a man who loves gadgets instead of a woman who doesn't).

No mention of being a fragrance expert on his website..................

Nothing suspicious here.

Peter is modest, boasting is not his style.

I like him, in fact I find him positively fragrant.

Poor Peter, I looked at his FB page earlier on and loads of people are telling him how rubbish the channels are now with P&P, delivery times, presenters, products etc.
They're all offloading to him and I kinda feel sorry for the guy. At first he said they should use Bid's FB page then some of them said they had and they've been banned so he's now said he'll take it all to the bosses on Tuesday.
There is a definite theme with their comments though, it's the cost of P&P, the increased delivery times, the increased price of products, the poorer quality and variety of products and presenters' behaviours.
I wonder if he actually will show the bosses their feedback??!

If he does take their comments to the bosses I fear he may follow The Lord of Kean out the door. I would imagine they don't like to hear constructive criticism.

I fear you could be absolutely right Muttley, it doesn't seem as though the company welcome any constructive feedback, it must all be positive and a*se licking!

I can't see any improvements so far. The delivery goes against all modern internet shopping with the length of time and high cost, the products ate laughable - I have literally been speechless on a number of occasions and the ludicrous claims made by the presenters to rubbish products is clearly having an affect on sales. Who is next for the chop?

I have a perfume sample from amazon. com

What a pro old Schlock is! Despite numerous mentions on his FB page that the Macadamia shampoo and conditioner are available for £1 each elsewhere he continues to spout his usual rubbish. If he had any integrity or real loyalty to his customers surely he would speak out against it to his 'mates' in management. I am all for fair competition but such a mark-up reeks of exploitation of their target market.
Their price comparisons must take ages as finding their products cheaper is so much easier than finding someone charging more. Amazon are so fair in their price comparisons and trust in their good service to ensure customer loyalty.

I am kind of torn in regard to Peter, on one hand I do think he's a decent sort of bloke deep down & would be seen in a much better light in a less sales focused environment... but on the other hand one can not overlook his behaviour & antics as of late. I can't even make a case for him by saying its obviously his management making him say such things as we have shining lights such as Debbie who probably sells just as much as him.
I honestly don't know what to make of him, he obviously does get carried away but quite honestly I am starting to see him in the same light as Sally.

Shameless Sherlock.

End of.

Hes sold 8000 bottles of his own perfume. not bad for someone who knows nothing about perfume and is a shyster? its almost as if the opinions on this thread are that of an insignificant and meaningless minority who dont in any way represent the actual opinions of genuine BID TV viewers.

Just like Hitler had a fair few supporters of his cause. Doesn't make him right. Not comparing the two but it shows that just because HD has convinced people it don't make him right.

Sent from my Vodafone 354 using Forum Runner *meep meep*

Would be a great indicator of something if the 8,000 people had smelled the perfume. I would say we'll see how many send them back, but oh, unlike other shopping channels, if you so much as remove the cellophane then you can't send it back. The legal eagle in me would suggest anyone wanting to send these back did so under the 'not fit for purpose' line, it's after all supposed to be a perfume, but the sexxxxy shoooo I smelled....... worse than my toilet cleaner :)

How many of that 8000 actually liked it?
