QVC USA currently doing a promo for new customers properly

Yes, in a shocking turn of events, QVC in the US are doing a promotion code when new customers land on their website. None of the cloak and dagger one-TSV free p&p.

We can't get this, obviously, but I dare say if QVCUK did something like this, we'd probably point friends and family towards QVC for something that couldn't be got elsewhere.

I also wonder if this is an isolated idea, or they do this kind of thing but instead for loyal customers.

I wonder why we can't buy from QVC US, does anyone know?
I've bought several things from other US suppliers that have been shipped here, no problems.

I just think it is one of their rules, it has been discussed in the past! The last time I looked at their website it flags up the UK site address!

No doubt shipping costs(this is QVC after all), all having to add customs duty on top of the price. Anything over £15 including postage is subject to duty from outside the EU.
